This is Papi — a very young Cane Corso puppy.
No verbal cues yet. No “sit.” No “come.” No noise.

Right now, we’re building foundations, not obedience:
• Following movement
• Reading body language
• Hand gestures before words
• Food engagement
• Learning to follow a leader

This is the stage most people skip — especially with Christmas puppies.
They wait… they spoil… they hope it works out later.

Later becomes reactivity, confusion, and bad habits.

Strong adult dogs are built early, quietly, and intentionally.
Train the puppy you want a year from now, not the one you want to cuddle today.

I’ve been working with Oso since August ❤️ not on obedience but on how to control his big boy emotions. This isn’t a zero to hero story, it’s a hero to rockstar one! 🤘🏽 He is heading to his home trial today with his new potential family. Lobo K9 is on a mission to save 1 million dogs, we thank Cody's Friends Rescue for allowing us to add Oso Handsome to the roster!
