Been a little busy with some special training sessions for the last month and half. We covered a little problem solving in odor work and bite work.
Bear with me for not making videos or taking pictures, I am usually too busy watching the dogs.

Added new equipment, some to train with, some added for safety. As always, Saber trained with some of our PD dogs at a few maintenance training sessions. We added a few new clients and had time to have fun with Bossk and his toy obsession.

I am excited to say that I have some really nice dogs on the horizon. Pics coming soon.

It’s always good to spend time training with old friends and making new ones.

Saber will always support its teams. Handlers are always welcome to return for maintenance training upon graduation.

Whether it’s a law enforcement or personal protection dog, the dog has amazing power in deterrence just by mere presence.

I have witnessed cornered suspects urinate and a few defecate themselves when the dog cornered them. They seemed unaware that there were guns pointed at them, the dog was their only thought or concern. Had many tell me that they would rather be shot than bitten by the dog. As a handler my reply was “it’s up to you. You are in control of your destiny.” 99% of the time they opted for compliance.

Saber teaches both public and private sector handlers to know caselaw, know their states legal statutes and only deploy their partners within legal parameters.
