Join Northeast Ohio Working Dogs for an evening of obedience + protection work! Whether you’re training for PSA, PPD, building confidence, or just looking to put in some solid work with your dog, everyone is welcome regardless of experience or training goals.

Not ready to bring a dog but curious about the sport? Spectators are welcome too! Come hang out, watch the dogs work, meet the club, and see what PSA/protection training is all about.

A little overdue, but these teams deserve their recognition! 🏆

A few months back, some of our Northeast Ohio Working Dogs teams hit the field at Sunday Club and came home with some accomplishments we’re incredibly proud of!

Corey & Asta earned their PSA-PDC
Josh & Trouble earned their PSA-PDC
Aly & Korra earned a leg toward their PSA1-WHD

Trial days are only a tiny glimpse of the countless hours of training, problem solving, and teamwork that happen behind the scenes. We’re proud of each of these teams for stepping onto the field and putting their training to the test.
Better late than never🤣congratulations to Corey & Asta, Josh & Trouble, and Aly & Korra! 👏

A little Kayleigh Lawler appreciation post because she deserves it. 🖤

Because apparently being approximately the same size as the dogs you’re catching and STILL volunteering to let them launch themselves full speed directly into you is considered a perfectly reasonable hobby in PSA. 😂
But seriously, Kayleigh deserves some recognition for just how much she puts into this club and this sport.
She’s always one of the first people helping set the field and one of the last helping clean it up. She keeps dogs rotating, keeps things moving, travels to train, asks questions, soaks up information, takes feedback like a champ, and somehow hears “this dog is a LOT of dog” and responds with what is essentially “okay cool, send him.” 🤣

The growth she’s made as a decoy has been awesome to watch. She doesn’t just want to put on a suit and catch dogs. She genuinely wants to understand PSA and bite sports as a whole; pressure, pictures, grips, movement, reading dogs, helping dogs progress, and WHY we’re doing what we’re doing. She’s constantly asking how she can improve and then actually applying the feedback she gets.
And we have to talk about the dedication to her own two dogs. Neither one was particularly bred with PSA in mind, but Kayleigh said challenge accepted and has poured everything she can into learning how to bring out the best in both of them. She shows up, puts in the reps, takes the ugly sessions with the good ones, adjusts, learns, and keeps going.

PSA clubs don’t run on bite suits and bad decisions alone. They run because people are willing to show up early, stay late, drag tunnels and jumps around, move equipment, rotate dogs, catch dogs, take criticism, travel ridiculous distances to learn something new, and do a whole bunch of work nobody sees in the final trial pictures.

Kayleigh is THAT person.
She’s become such an important part of Northeast Ohio Working Dogs, and we couldn’t appreciate her more.

So here’s to Kayleigh. may your catches stay clean, your knees stay somewhat functional, your suit remain mostly intact, and may you continue making questionable decisions when someone asks, “You wanna catch this one?”

We already know the answer is yes. 😂🫡

Join us for an evening of obedience and protection! This is great if you want to learn about PSA in a more relaxed environment.

Each dog will have two sessions.
$65 per dog.

All funds go towards the Northeast Ohio Working Dog Club, and helping fund a trial in 2027!
