Labrador Friends of the South, Inc. Labrador Friends of the South (LFS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of homeless Labrador Retrievers. Thank you.~

We are based out of ATLANTA, GA. LFS relies solely on donations, fund-raising events and adoption fees to function and continue saving and placing homeless Labradors. We do not receive any state or federal funding. LFS is an all volunteer organization of people who give their time, effort, and love for labs to protect and save them from the perils of pet over-population and irresponsible pet owner

ship. Our ultimate goal is to help these dogs find new, loving, forever homes.

Look how happy she is!!!She loves her foster dog and cat siblings so much. And her foster mom and dad! She sleeps on the bed with them every night!

We are so thankful for her forever foster but her medical bill this month were over $600 😅 Please donate if you can, to help us make these some wonderful and comfortable golden years for Lenore!

Forever Update on MJ 🏡❤️
I just wanted to update you on Scout (formerly MJ). She is doing awesome and settling in nicely. She has two little human brothers she loves to chase around and play with. She has a cat brother and sister (Socks & Biscuit) that we are still getting used to and a little old black lab mix sister (Lucy) that is slowly warming up to her and big chocolate lab brother (Sully) that is super excited to have a new playmate. She and Sully chase each other around in circles, play fight over toys, and wrestle every day now. She sleeps through the night, is doing well with house training and is awesome in her crate. As soon as she gets her next round of vaccines she will join us at all the boys’ baseball and lacrosse practices and games. We are thrilled to have her!

Forever Sabrina, now Olive!
Olive is such a happy girl and brings so much joy to our lives. In her early weeks with us, we realized quickly she’s happiest sitting on our balcony to snuggle and people-watch or being in her stroller at farmers markets to meet new friends. We were so happy to find she loves all people and dogs. She’s never met a stranger in her life! She has been our spunky, sassy, and confident girl from day one. Her favorite place in the world is where she gets to show off the good girl that she is. She also loves enjoying a frozen peanut butter treat after a walk on the beltline (she’s slowly becoming a loose lease pro!). We’re so lucky to have her in our lives and can’t wait to see how much she continues to grow!
