Gentle Giants Training Class

As the owner of two Great Danes, I understand firsthand the unique challenges that come with living and training alongside giant breed dogs. Once these amazing dogs reach their full size—often between 18 months and 2 years old—many owners discover there are very few training, socialization, or activity opportunities designed specifically for them. Unfortunately, some facilities are intimidated by their size or simply don’t accommodate giant breeds.

At C.F. Pawsitive Packleader, we absolutely love the Gentle Giants!

We believe dogs of every size deserve the opportunity to play, learn, socialize, and thrive. Our Gentle Giants Training Class was created specifically for large and extra-large breed dogs (85+ lbs) and focuses on helping owners build confidence, communication, and control while embracing everything that makes these incredible dogs special.

Throughout this 4-week class, teams will work on:
• Leash manners and handling large dogs safely
• Reliable recall and focus around distractions
• Impulse control and calm behavior
• Socialization and appropriate interactions
• Building confidence for both dog and owner
• Real-world skills that make everyday life easier

Our goal is to provide giant breed owners with the tools, support, and community they need while giving these wonderful dogs the training and enrichment opportunities they deserve.

Class Starts: Thursday, July 9th
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Duration: 4 Weeks

Because every dog—no matter their size—deserves a chance to be a well-mannered, confident member of the family.
