Brand Spotlight: Smalls

Smalls creates food, treats, and everyday essentials with one very important customer in mind: cats.

Their recipes prioritize high-quality animal protein and recognizable ingredients, without unnecessary fillers or preservatives. Even their treats are thoughtfully formulated for cats, offering plenty of flavor without relying on the gums and fillers commonly found in lickable options.

We love a brand that understands cats aren’t simply small dogs, and that their nutrition, enrichment, and wonderfully particular preferences deserve products designed specifically for them. 🐱

More meat. Less mystery. Happier tiny predators.

World Mental Health Day 🧠 🐾

Today, we recognize the animals whose presence and work can make daily life more manageable for people living with mental health challenges.

Emotional support animals offer comfort, stability, companionship, and a reassuring presence during difficult moments. Psychiatric service dogs perform individually trained tasks that help their handlers move through the world with greater safety and independence.

Their roles may look different, but the support they provide can be deeply meaningful. They may help someone feel grounded during distress, interrupt a crisis, maintain an essential routine, or simply make it possible to face another day.

To every emotional support animal, psychiatric service dog, and devoted handler: the importance of your partnership deserves to be seen and respected.

Brand Spotlight: Merci Collective

Merci Collective creates pet products that bring together thoughtful function, elevated design, and a little gemstone-inspired magic.

Founder Chani was inspired to create the brand after seeing her dog, Benzo, experience separation anxiety. The result is a collection of sustainable, vegan products designed to support connection, enrichment, and more engaging everyday routines.

At Sit Pittie, you’ll find Merci Collective’s Gemstone Enrichment Toy for dogs, crystal-inspired catnip toys, and rose-quartz-infused catnip. The gemstone enrichment toy can hold treats, roll unpredictably, and create an erratic bounce during fetch, while the cat collection encourages batting, kicking, pouncing, and play. 🐶 🐱 💎

Beautiful objects made for meaningful moments together.
