When I was 35, life as I knew was completely upended.
I was alone for the first time in my life.
I had to live alone.
I was scared and uncertain of what my future was going to look like.
I struggled for a while.
Until. I thrived.
I didn’t *have* to live alone,
I got to live alone.
I got to do whatever I wanted to do.
Wear what I wanted to wear.
Read what I wanted to read.
Without being criticized
for the things I liked.
I was free.
I got to learn who I was as an adult.
And I needed to do that in order to experience a healthy relationship.
So indeed, sometimes the thing you think will break you actually saves you.
Whatever you are going through, please remember, you will get through it.
And you will be better for it 🫶
