Rufio is still in search of his forever home he is our LONGEST residents 😞
He is the perfect GSD... 1yo neutered male, crate trained, potty trained, UTD on everything, chipped, good with other dogs, children AND horses.... He doesn't have separation anxiety, he isn't destructive or reactive. He's the BEST dog. Why doesn't he have any interest? 😭

Hi all! I'm going to be changing up our logo and finally republishing the website. With all of this being said - from now on if you are interested in adopting you have to email to our adoption email. I can not reply to 20+ messages a day on Facebook regarding dogs. This will help centralize everything.

I als do not have our adoption application public. The adoption app is for serious, true fit homes for the dog inquired about.

I am a one woman show so this is going to be super helpful with our process.

For everyone asking we will finally have the option for monthly donors!!!! 🎉🎉

Thank you all for bearing with me, rescue is a TON of work but these dogs deserve the best!!!

A happy update!! Shall we?!

If you know Phillip, he is one of our very long term reactive cases. It's ALL fear. This is why I encourage so many people who get puppies to SOCIALIZE them as much as possible.
The main reason people dump these dogs at the shelter is soley because they have fear agression due to lack of exposure and socialization but they don't know it... it's SO frustrating because it's SO easy. They just hear the growling and the barking.. a dog fight happens and then they're labeled dangerous.
Phillip showed up to us as a completely different dog. He learned that these behaviors got him what we wanted so we pushed him. We pushed him through his issues and he is blossoming into one of the best dogs we've ever owned..
if you didn't know already - Phillip punctured me in the leg 😆It wasn't intentional that he got me but boy did he get me ! His hunt drive is so great- dude loves a ball.. he had a few interests from k9 handlers but ultimately he was a little too fearful of new people around him to pass his test. SOOOOOOOO with all of this being said- we've adopted Phillip 😊
We believe that we are the best fit home for him and he will only continue to thrive here with us. Happy tails forever !!!
Also we're really needing to change his name 😅

We've been working so hard behind the scenes to find our long term doggies their best fit homes.
Everything happens the way it should! His adopter (also a k9 handler!) found his media and couldn't let him go🩷after he is neutered he will be headed to his new family where he will spend forever.
I'm feeling so grateful for everyone that has reached out recently to adopt and foster our dogs. They all deserve happy endings and I can't wait to share updates on this handsome boy!
