Legacy Trails Veterinary Service is owned and operated by Dr. Bobbi Ann Shanks. Dr. Bobbi was born and raised in Columbus, Kansas and is a graduate of Kansas State University. She has nearly a decade of rural, mixed-animal practice experience and has also served as a Veterinary Medical Officer for USDA-APHIS. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are beef herd health development, obstetrics, and surgeries in all species. She is looking forward to meeting new clients and patients while helping make veterinary care more accessible in this practice area.

Hello! Welcome to Veterinary Trails Veterinary Service!

We are a newly established veterinary practice based out of Crestline, Kansas. We are a mobile, (mostly) large animal practice. We provide full services for cattle, horses, goats, sheep, swine, and poultry. This includes emergency coverage! In addition, we also offer in-home euthanasia for dogs and cats with cremation options. At this time, we do not offer any other services for small animals.

Legacy Trails is a fully mobile veterinary practice. What does mobile mean? It means we do not have a physical clinic location. Instead, we come to you! We provide full veterinary services for your livestock or pets at your house, pasture, barn, or wherever the animal is located! While not exclusive, our primary service areas are Cherokee and Crawford counties in Kansas, and eastern Jasper and Barton counties in Missouri. Call fees are based on mileage from Crestline, KS. Feel free to call or text if you want to know what a call fee to your operation would be.
