Pet Friendly Northshore

So we've been working on some merchandise. Beanies, shirts and jackets. What do y'all think?

I haven't told Darcy. I can't handle the ego being any bigger than it already is.

Even though Darcy isn't part of their program, she has interacted with KPro K9, LLC at every event we have attended and I always enjoyed watching her interactions. We all know Darcy is...stubborn, but they have always been so sweet with her. Plus we always laugh over her adamant refusal to "down".

Come see them this Saturday at The Barley Oak as they present Bark-toberfest!

They’re not just pets. They’re family. They’re the ones waiting at the door after a long day, the ones who make us laugh when we need it most, and the ones who love us through every season of life.

At Kpro K9, we believe they deserve the same patience, understanding, and dedication they give us every single day. Because training isn’t just about teaching commands. It’s about building a relationship that lasts a lifetime. ❤️🐾

This week starts and I want to give a special shoutout to all the vet techs who follow our page!

I am heading to 24 years in the field, starting way back at a Banfield in Slidell and now happily at Hillside Veterinary Associates for 10 years.

Animals have been my passion since I was a small child, from ferrets to fish I have owned and worked with so many different species of animal. I don't know, nor can I imagine, life outside of veterinary medicine.

Vet techs play so many roles, but the most important one is that of a compassionate bridge between the animal, the owner that may be worried, and the veterinarian.

Enjoy your week, vet techs!!! You all deserve it!!!

We are often asked what PLACES are pet friendly on the Northshore and I have been severely lacking in listing those locations. Now I can't say all these stores EVERYWHERE are pet friendly as we were once told to leave TJ Maxx in Hammond but was later told by another employee that dogs were allowed. SO. This is a list of places I have successfully brought Darcy.

1) Marshalls *probably our favorite store to shop with her
2) Ross
3) Five Below
4) Michael's
5) Academy
6) Hobby Lobby
7) Dollar Tree
8) Kohls
9) Bath & Body Works
10) Home Depot
11) Lowes
12) Tractor Supply Co.
13) Home Goods
14) St. Francis Animal Sanctuary Thrift Store & Kitty Haven
15) Fleurty Girl
16) The French Address

What locations are we missing? Let me know so I can add them to the list!

Darcy's coming by soon!! And she's bringing her Lil sister 🤣

We have always had treats for our human fans, and now we have treats for our four-legged friends. That's right, one of our own baristas, Mrs. Jane, and her business, Pawfaits, is now selling homemade and organic dog treats. Come spoil your pets and grab a coffee for yourself while supplies last.
