🐾🎉 One Year of Cara's Critter Care 🎉🐾
This week marks one whole year since I officially started Cara's Critter Care, and what a year it has been.
Looking back, I can't believe how much I've learned, not just about running a business, but about patience, confidence, problem-solving, and trusting myself. There have been long days, late nights, and plenty of moments in between where I questioned if I was doing things right, but every challenge has helped me grow into a better business owner and pet care provider.
This business truly wouldn't be what it is without the people behind the scenes.
To my husband, my pro bono contractor 😂, thank you for every board you cut, every kennel you built, every project you tackled, and for helping transform our kennel room into something I can be proud of. Every improvement has made Cara's Critter Care a better place for the pets who stay with us, and I couldn't have done any of it without your handiwork and determination. ❤️
To my mom, thank you for believing in me from the very beginning. Your encouragement has meant more than you'll ever know, and I couldn't have done this without you stepping in to help with the kids so I could meet clients, care for boarders, and continue building this dream for us. 💖
To my wonderful kids, thank you for giving me the courage to take this leap of faith. Becoming your mom and having the privilege of staying home with you showed me that there is always another path, one that balances building something of my own while still being present for every single moment with the both of you. If it weren't for you, I don't know that I ever would've had the confidence to veer from the traditional path and chase this dream. You inspire me every single day to keep building a life that makes you proud. ❤️🔥
And finally, to every single client, family, friends or strangers, whether you trusted me once or you've become one of my regulars, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with caring for your furry (and non furry) family members, for recommending my business to your friends and family, for leaving kind reviews, and for supporting this dream. Every booking, every referral and every message has helped make this first year possible. 💕
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my first year such an incredible one. I feel so incredibly blessed to do something I genuinely love every day, and that's because of all of you.
