One in eight women will face breast cancer. I’m one of them.

A few weeks ago, I got the diagnosis no one wants. Since then, it’s been a blur of scans, biopsies, consults, and some sleepless nights. The kind of path you don’t choose, but once you're on it, you walk it with purpose.

It’s aggressive, but it’s also treatable. I’ve got a solid medical team, powerful chemo, surgery, radiation, and therapies lined up, and we’re already seeing results. It was caught early, and I plan to be here, bugging you all for a long time.

I’m not “strong.” I don’t want to be seen that way. I’m just fighting to live because I love my life. Plain and simple.

Chemo hits hard for a couple days, but it is nothing like the movies make it out to be. After some rest, I’m back to doing what I love: finding moments of joy with friends, family, and the four-legged crew and helping clients and their dogs live in harmony.

I’m not going to post about this often. I’m just living life, minus a few downtime days here and there. But if you see a photo of my bald head, now you know why.
