Star Utter
🚀 The Signal is Finally Live.
Most of you know me as the person covered in dog hair, wrestling doodles on a grooming table, or finding quiet moments with my own chaotic pack (shout out to Bender, Toffee, Foxy, and Gemini 🐾).
But for a long time, I’ve been living a double life.
While my hands were busy grooming, my head was millions of miles away, building a world about what happens when the people who are supposed to protect us… leave.
I am terrified and incredibly proud to announce that my debut illustrated novel, *Earthbound Orbit*, is finally out.
On the surface? It’s a sci-fi story about a teenage Hyena named Simon trying to raise his little brother, Alan, after their astronaut parents leave for Mars. There are spaceships, illegal high-speed internet, and a very aggressive Badger plushie.
But really? It’s a story for anyone who has ever:
⚡ Felt like they were the "Old Be**er" keeping the family running while everyone else was a "Luxury Import."
⚡ Needed to "stim" or fidget just to keep their brain from overheating (I see you, Jax).
⚡ Realized that the "Golden Ticket" they were promised was actually just a price tag.
⚡ Found their family not by blood, but by finding the people who refuse to let them drive alone.
I didn't outline this book; I "gardened" it. I let these characters grow wild, and they told me a story about how **competence is a love language** and how the most important mission isn't in the stars—it's right here in the dirt.
A Note on the Creation:
This book is a hybrid. The visuals were assisted by generative AI to help me show you the world in my head, but the story—the heart, the heartbreak, the panic attacks, and the joy—is **100% human-written and human-felt.** It is my voice, unpolished and real.
This book is dedicated to the real-life "Rabbits" who wire our families together, and to anyone who feels like they are orbiting alone.
I see you.
I’d be honored if you checked it out.
