Jenn's Dogs LLC Offering private and group training focused on trust and communication for the Family Dog. Jenn’s Dogs offers many options for training.

Jenn's Dogs offers training that focuses on building a relationship with your dog. Using humane and science backed methods, you can establish two way communication with your canine companion. Current research has given us new insight on how dogs think, feel, and learn. Jenn's Dogs follows LIMA practices (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive). This allows you and your dog to learn and grow together, focusing on communication to strengthen your bond. Most dogs will start with Level classes. This learning path teaches appropriate behavior expectation from both ends of the leash. It focuses on not only teaching your dog what you would like them to do, but also teaching you how to ask for behavior and build reliability at a steady rate. Level classes are offered in a group setting, or as private sessions. For dogs that have big emotions, Jenn’s Dogs offers specialty packages that can help your dog overcome their triggers and learn how to return to a normal range of emotion. Many of these emotions can be displayed as "aggressive" behaviors. These behaviors are often scary and dangerous. Specialty packages are offered for leash reactivity to outdoor triggers, as well as teaching relaxation protocols for triggers within the home. Training is offered at the Jenn’s Dogs Training Studio in Forest Grove, or in your home on select days. Travel fees apply to in home sessions based on distance from the Training Studio. 🐾 Public manners are about more than following directions! 🐶✨

In this Level 2: Public Manners cue video, we're introducing a fun and practical skill called Under!

Public access skills aren't just about whether your dog can respond to cues around distractions. They're also about learning how to comfortably share space and use familiar behaviors in flexible ways that make everyday adventures easier. 💛

With Under, the guardian sits while their dog learns to settle underneath them, allowing both to occupy the same space. Think outdoor dining, waiting areas, or taking a break while exploring somewhere new!

It's a wonderful example of how a simple behavior can become a valuable real life skill. 🧠🐕

At Jenn's Dogs in Cornelius, our Level 2 dog training builds on foundational manners through positive reinforcement, force free dog training, enrichment, and practical communication that supports both ends of the leash.

🎓🐾 Private Level 2 Graduation! 🎉

Sometimes you just need a little one-on-one attention before you're ready to go out and conquer the world. 🌎🐶💛

This team came into Level 2 working through some pretty ingrained fears and confidence challenges. Together, they slowed things down, built clearer communication, and practiced their Public Manners skills at a pace where this dog could feel safe enough to learn.

And what a transformation! ✨ Over time, confidence replaced uncertainty, communication became stronger, and this team learned how to navigate the world together. Today, you would hardly know just how nervous this pup once was. 🥹👏

Private dog training at Jenn’s Dogs is a great option for dogs who benefit from individualized attention while still working toward the same goals as our Level 2: Public Manners group course. Positive reinforcement and force free dog training allow us to meet each dog where they are while continuing to move forward.

Level 2 is available as either private training or a group class. Completion of Level 1 or an evaluation is required to qualify.

Here's a little snapshot of what scent work looks like at Jenn's Dogs. 🐾

When a dog is in the middle of a search, they're doing some pretty incredible things! They're gathering information, following odor, making decisions, and working through a puzzle using one of their most powerful natural abilities.

And the best part? We get to watch them figure it out! 💙

Scent work isn't about being the fastest or getting everything right the first time. It's about giving dogs opportunities to explore, build confidence, and experience success at their own pace.

Through positive reinforcement and force free dog training, we create enriching experiences that support emotional regulation, independent problem solving, and the connection between dogs and their guardians.

It's one of our favorite enrichment activities for family dogs, including those who benefit from confidence building and behavior modification.

These puppies are ready to take on the world! 🌎💛

Puppy Life Skills at Jenn’s Dogs isn't a traditional dog training class, and that's intentional. There will be plenty of time for manners. During these early weeks, we're focused on building the foundation underneath them.

Our puppies learn how to communicate, explore new experiences safely, develop secure attachment with their people, and practice important dog social skills that only other dogs can teach. 🐶🐶 Through thoughtful play, enrichment, positive reinforcement, and force free dog training, we're helping puppies learn that their people are safe and the world is worth exploring. ✨

Their guardians leave with skills too, learning how to support confidence, emotional regulation, cooperative care, and continued socialization as their puppies grow.

Adolescence may be right around the corner, but these little graduates have a strong foundation underneath them and families prepared to support them through whatever comes next. 🎓👏
