Jenn's Dogs offers training that focuses on building a relationship with your dog. Using humane and science backed methods, you can establish two way communication with your canine companion. Current research has given us new insight on how dogs think, feel, and learn. Jenn's Dogs follows LIMA practices (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive). This allows you and your dog to learn and grow together,

focusing on communication to strengthen your bond. Most dogs will start with Level classes. This learning path teaches appropriate behavior expectation from both ends of the leash. It focuses on not only teaching your dog what you would like them to do, but also teaching you how to ask for behavior and build reliability at a steady rate. Level classes are offered in a group setting, or as private sessions. For dogs that have big emotions, Jenn’s Dogs offers specialty packages that can help your dog overcome their triggers and learn how to return to a normal range of emotion. Many of these emotions can be displayed as "aggressive" behaviors. These behaviors are often scary and dangerous. Specialty packages are offered for leash reactivity to outdoor triggers, as well as teaching relaxation protocols for triggers within the home. Training is offered at the Jenn’s Dogs Training Studio in Forest Grove, or in your home on select days. Travel fees apply to in home sessions based on distance from the Training Studio. 🐾 Next Fit Dog Walk June 13th 🐾

Let’s keep the momentum going! Join Jenn’s Dogs for our June Fit Dog Walk on Saturday, June 13th at 10 AM at the B Street Trail in Forest Grove 🌳🐕
📍 B Street Trailhead, 1910 16th Avenue
🕙 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
🐾 1.7 mile loop trail

This monthly walk is a simple, low-pressure way to get outside with your dog, add enrichment to their routine, and enjoy some movement together. Come at your own pace, take in the environment, and let your dog explore the trail in a thoughtful, structured way.

This is not a traditional pack walk. You’re welcome to walk independently, bring friends, and create the experience that works best for you and your dog.
Jenn will be there as an AKC approved CGC evaluator and can sign off on Fit Dog paperwork for those working toward their medals.

Grab your leash, invite a friend, and come enjoy a beautiful morning on the trail!

🎓🐶 Level 0: Puppy Life Skills Graduation with Chey! 🐶🎉

We cannot get enough of this adorable group of Level 0 graduates! 😍🐾 These puppies brought all the wiggles, curiosity, and personality—and they made every single session so much fun to be part of.

But behind all that cuteness was some really important work. 💛

Level 0 is where we build the foundation for the future. Gentle exposure to new experiences, learning how to recover from surprises, early social skills, body awareness, and building trust with their humans. These puppies were learning how to learn—and that matters.

Solid preparation now creates confident, capable, and optimistic adult dogs later. And this group is off to an incredible start. 🐕✨

We are so proud of these teams for showing up, supporting their puppies, and setting them up for success from the very beginning.

🎨🐾 Sometimes the best enrichment isn’t just for the dogs… it’s for the humans too 😅

Jenn recently spent an evening at a Paint Your Pet Night with the amazing team at AR Workshop, and while she may have discovered that professional artist is not her calling 🎨😂 the process was still an absolute blast. Sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone, laughing at yourself a little, and creating something fun is exactly what you need at the end of a busy week.

Huge thank you to Alexis and everyone at AR Workshop for always creating such welcoming, creative, and community-focused events 💛🐶

They have pet series events and summer camps happening throughout the summer ☀️🎨🐾 If you’ve been looking for a fun activity, creative night out, or something unique to do with friends or family, definitely check them out.

A behind the scenes look at group classes at Jenn’s Dogs in Cornelius, Oregon

This week our Level 1: Basic Manners teams are taking their skills into a new environment 🌎🐕
We’re practicing key response work and slack lead walking while other teams are working nearby

Because learning a cue in one spot is only the beginning 💡

Dogs need opportunities to practice skills around movement, distractions, sounds, and real life activity so they can build confidence, communication, and reliability with their guardians 🐾💛

In Level 1, we focus on foundational family dog training skills like:
