Spooky season is upon us, but some things don’t have to be scary! Neutering or spaying your pets can be beneficial in the long run, and you can discuss the benefits with your vet at your next visit🎃

In the meantime, enjoy this photo of Jett! His family threw a farewell party for his two little friends before his neuter. Jett’s procedure went smoothly, and he enjoyed endless cuddles from our staff during his recovery.

Have you ever caught yourself thinking..."Maybe they're just slowing down"?
It's easy to chalk little changes up to getting older. But sometimes they're not signs of aging at all. Sometimes they're signs of arthritis. In fact, osteoarthritis affects 40% of pets — but most go undiagnosed. And the good news? Arthritis pain can often be managed with safe, effective treatments and isn't something your pet simply has to live with. So, if you do notice any potential signs – talk to us! We can help your pet feel like themselves.

For the past three weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of having the lovely Tahina extern with us as she approaches the end of her veterinary school journey at Tuskegee University. Under the supervision of Dr. Martinez, Tahina gained hands-on experience with a variety of cases that we commonly see in our general practice.

Watching her confidence grow as she became more comfortable in the hospital and with our staff has been beautiful to witness. We wish you all the best, Tahina, as you are one step closer to becoming an exceptional veterinarian!

P.S. Thank you for the parting gift, the caffeine is much appreciated!🐾🩵
