💕BIG ANNOUNCEMENT💕
A little over 2 years ago, I started this journey as someone scrolling through the Lost and Found Pet pages trying to make a match . That led into becoming a moderator for one of our local groups , a foster and shortly after an independent rescuer, just doing what I could to help vulnerable cats in our community. Thanks your incredible continued support, I recently officially became a registered 501(c)(3) non profit cat rescue!
As you know, every single sick, injured, and abandoned cat I save relies entirely on your donations. Today, I am incredibly EXCITED to share a HUGE milestone that I have dreamed about since day one!! I have officially secured a dedicated physical space for our rescue! 😭❤️
Having this space is HUGE. It means Kozy Kitties can take in significantly more cats, get them off the streets, and give them the medical care and love they deserve. That allows me to say yes to so many more cats in need!! This isn't just a win for the cats, it’s a huge benefit to our entire community by reducing the stray population and providing the safe space that our community desperately needs.
But to make this dream a reality, I need to ask for your help🙏🏽🙏🏽
The building requires some remodeling to make it safe, sanitary, and ready for our future kitty residents. I have already poured a lot of our resources into buying initial supplies. However, as a non profit that runs solely on public donations, the financial hurdle of a full remodel is incredibly heavy.
It is deeply humbling and honestly, very hard to come on here and ask for more. I know I am constantly asking for your help with medical bills and other things for the cats, but I truly cannot do this alone.
I am urgently looking for Local Businesses & Suppliers. If you own or work for a business that handles construction, hardware, flooring, or building materials, would you consider donating supplies or offering a discount?
VOLUNTEERS, If you have remodeling skills (or just a willingness to paint, clean, hang dry wall and build), your time would be the greatest gift to these cats.
By helping me get this new rescue space ready, you are directly saving hundreds of future lives and making our community a better place for everyone.
