We’re wrapping up week 3 of current group classes! Dogs and handlers are looking great! 🐾

Sign up for ⭐️July group classes⭐️🇺🇸 is currently open! Email [email protected] for more information or to sign up! 📧

Also, the big beautiful brindle boy in the first clip and the brown cutie that’s rolled over in the last clip are available for adoption through Pinal County Animal Care and Control.

The brindle dog is Lugee, a year old mixed breed. He has been at the shelter since January. ☹️ Lugee is absolutely killing it in group classes! 🧑‍🏫

The second dog is Gertie. Also about a year old and has been at the shelter since April. She’s PCACC’s #1 sweetheart and is also doing so well with her training! 🐶

Got an update on Clio aka Ava recently. I thought it would be fun to finally show you guys mine and Ava’s very first interaction everrrrrr.

Yes she did fling crude in my eye. 🥲 No it wasn’t p**p, for real. It was p*e though….which is just as yucky. 🥲

This was her first time getting out of the kennel at the shelter, so I was testing how committed she actually was to making me go away. Thankfully she wasn’t fully committed to escalating to biting, but her defensive and timid behavior led to her being at the shelter for over a year. She sadly gained the title and crown of being one of the shelter’s longesttttttt residents.

Thankfully in collaborative effort between myself, The Dog Tribe Co., and Friends of Pinal Pets Inc., Ava, now Clio, is living her happily ever as you can see in the second half of the video! ❤️

Had the pleasure of giving this trio a safe space to hang out while their parents went out of town. It was like having a sleepover with old friends! The week consisted of a lot of laughs, play, and more play. lol Easiest pack of dogs ever, and they were all adopted from the shelter! 🐾

Obedience is more than teaching your dog tricks. It’s an investment in safety. From not bolting out of doors, coming when called, holding a command, or staying close to you. These are all invaluable skills to have along with creating a common language that is clearly understood between you and your dog in various situations. 🐾

Don’t wait to invest in your dog’s safety and clear communication! Sign up for July group classes is now OPEN! 🥳

Email [email protected] for more information or to reserve your spot!

Classes are hosted in Casa Grande. 📍Spots are limited and group classes are popular, so be sure to sign up asap!

This clip makes me giggle every time I watch it, so enjoy! 😊

Juniper gets a lot of anxiety when guest come into her home. So she’s learning she doesn’t have to worry about a thing and she can just lay there and smile pretty! 😂

Spent some time at City of Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center the other day. Look at these adorable faces I met while there! 🐶

First goofy dog with the grass all over his nose is Challenger (A043616.) Challenger is an energetic boy. He loved playing with the toys and water! Lots of drive and motivation in this boy. I’m sure he’d love training and adventures! Challenger gets along with other dogs and has a friend that stopped into the yard to hang out named Tommy. Although Challenger LOVES his toys he was never possessive or anything over them. Just a fun loving guy looking to play.

Next dog is a speckled cutie name Spade (A043790). Spade was such an easy going boy. Despite his size he rarely pulled on leash. Only time he kind of did, is when we were starting to walk past a house with a gang of barking chihuahuas and he was like “oh no, we can’t go that way those dogs are dangerous.” 😂 Such a sweet innocent boy. 😭 Spade seems young, about a year old. He came in with another dog as a stray. He really liked this fire hydrant we came across, but didn’t p*e on it like most dogs do. Maybe he’s dropping hints that he’d make a good fire department dog. 👀🚒

Last but not least, I got to hang out with this handsome heeler mix named Turbo (A043536). I’m kind of surprised but kind of not, that this boy has been at animal control since January. 😭 Reason I’m not totally shocked is because Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center doesn’t get a lot of exposure. When I worked at Pinal County it was crazy the amount of times citizens would say “I didn’t even know there was another shelter in Casa Grande.” 😭 Yes there is, and Turbo is one of the dogs that could use exposure and networking to help him get out of there quicker! So let’s get him that exposure! Share away! Turbo is listed as 3, but I would guess he’s a little younger than that. Turbo is also a drivey boy that would be a really fun one to train and have as an adventure companion. He loves toys, is affectionate towards people, and loves water!

All these pups are available at 📍City of Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center at 202 E. First Avenue Casa Grande, AZ 85122.

Catalina STILL hasn’t had anyone ask to meet her yet. 😭 Poor Catalina. Just look at her cute face. 😭😭😭

Catalina has spent majority of her life overwhelmed by anxiety and fear. Resulting in Catalina being in the shelter system for over two years. 😔 People would see her or hear her notes and decide she’s too scared, too broken, and not worth the chance or time. Over the last several weeks Catalina has accomplished and overcome so much and still no one wants to give this girl a chance. 😭

Catalina has been doing lots of practice on slowing down her mind and learning to enjoy life from a more balanced perspective.

So, if you or someone you know is looking to truly change a sweet soul’s life for the better, Catalina might be that girl! Catalina would just love to have an understanding home that enjoys leisurely strolls, sunbathing sessions, and cozy naps just as much as her. ❤️
