It is a fun read. Always remember your past does not have to dictate your future. Learn, grow and challenge yourself for as long as you live.

It’s officially here. The Rocky Mountain Vet Podcast has launched.
You can now listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and right here on Facebook.

In our first episode, Dr. Jeffrey Young and Andrew Joseph Duffer dive straight into the reality of animal welfare. Not the polished version people like to post about, the real version. We talk about the challenges behind the no kill movement, what overcrowding and stress actually do to animals in shelters, and why spay and neuter programs are the foundation of any real solution.

We get into economic euthanasia and how finances can dictate life or death decisions, the role of low cost veterinary care, and how a profit driven system can limit access to help. We also talk about adoption, how hard it is to find the right homes, and the balance between properly vetting adopters without making it so difficult that animals stay stuck waiting.

This episode really lays the groundwork for everything that’s coming. It shows you what’s broken, what’s misunderstood, and why Dr. Jeff is building and planning to run his new shelter the way he is. The goal is simple. Give animals a real quality of life and a real second chance.
