🐾 Yesterday marked a truly special milestone for us — our first ever FREE grooming event dedicated to the unhoused pets in our community. 🐾

What started as an idea rooted in compassion turned into a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Throughout the day, we met pets whose owners have been facing some of the hardest moments of their lives. Yet every single one of them showed up with love, loyalty, and gratitude shining through their furry faces.

Being able to provide comfort, cleanliness, and dignity to these pets — many of whom haven’t had proper grooming in a long time — meant more than words can express. Their tails wagging after a warm bath, their newfound softness, and the smiles from their humans made every moment worth it.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and supported this day. Whether you helped wash, brush, dry, transport, organize, or simply spread the word, you played an important part in making this event a success.

A very special thank you goes out to Helping Hands and Healing Paws of New Hampshire. Working side by side with this incredible organization was an honor. Their commitment to uplifting unhoused and low-income pet owners is unmatched, and being able to join forces with them felt truly meaningful.

This event reminded us of the power of community, compassion, and coming together for those who need it most. We are already excited for the next opportunity — and we hope to keep expanding events like this so we can reach even more pets and people.

How A Muddy Trackz Pet Palace Came to Light

A Muddy Trackz Pet Palace was born from a lifetime of love, simple moments, and the people who shaped who I am today. Growing up, I was that kid who wanted to be everywhere with my family. Every weekend, my grandparents would scoop me up and off we went—yard sales, stamp collecting adventures, and our cherished ice cream trips. Those moments became my foundation.

For the longest time, I thought I’d follow in my grandmother’s footsteps and go into cosmetology. But life has a funny way of guiding you where you’re meant to be. With her support and encouragement, I found myself drawn to grooming—just not the human kind. She helped me gather my very first grooming tools, and before long, it wasn’t just a job… it was my passion.

When it came time to name my business, I thought back to all those memories that built me. I remembered my grandfather’s favorite ice cream—Moose Trackz. It made me smile, and it felt right. That memory, mixed with my love for pets and the muddy pawprints they proudly leave behind, became the heart of my business name.

A Muddy Trackz Pet Palace is more than a grooming shop. It’s a tribute to the people who raised me, the memories that shaped me, and the pets who make life a little messier and a whole lot sweeter.
