Sad news, y'all. Midna killed another dog today and according to certain expert "certified dog behaviorists"/shelter temperament evaluators, we might have to put her down :((( See photos below :(((((
I was going to test both dogs to see if maybe they are actually ticking time bombs who shouldn't be allowed to eat and play together like they have been for 4 months now, but Dague didn't even get a chance to meet Trevor before Midna took him right out 😢.
Fortunately by Internet standards I'm an expert veterinary revival surgeon, specializing of course in the endangered American Black Poly Blend breed, but even if we successfully bring him back from the dead, now I'm hesitant about allowing him to meet Dague at all. I worry that even with the most advanced level of support, he might just be too medically fragile :(((((
Just absolutely gutted. Midna has socialized countless puppies and kittens and client dogs, and has many excellent friendships with friends' dogs and whatnot, so to find out this way that she is an uncontrollable killer who at best has an extreme, aggressive prejudice against this majestic breed of canine...I can't even look at her right now 🥲😭💔
What do y'all think, should I allow Trevor to meet Dague the malinois or is this temperament test maybe not all that useful? 🤔😅
