🍂 Fall Pet of the Season Contest 🍂
It’s time for our Fall MVP contest! 🐾✨ This fall, we are celebrating the incredible pets who make our days brighter, happier, and full of joy. One pet (or family) will be crowned Fall MVP 2026 (Most Valuable Pet) and will move on to compete for Pet of the Year 2026.

✨ Yes, there will be fun gifts and prizes for the winner! We promise, you and your pets are going to love it.

How to vote:
🐾 To vote on Facebook, like your favorite picture! To vote on Instagram, comment with the pet's name.
🐾 Share your pets on your page and remind your friends to like the original picture and subscribe. Votes only count on the ORIGINAL POST on our page!

Pet Spotlight: Olive! 🫒🐾
Please allow us to introduce Olive, although marine biologists may recognize her by her scientific name: The North Carolina Land Seal. 😂

Olive’s natural habitat includes sunny patches, comfy houses, yards containing neighbors who clearly need to be greeted, and anywhere a Kong might mysteriously appear. ☀️

Her daily responsibilities are extensive. She must bask. She must bring you a toy. She must inspect the neighborhood. She must say hello to the people and their dogs. She must bring you ANOTHER toy because apparently you did not appreciate the first one enough. And occasionally, she must stare directly into your soul with that perfect land seal face. 🥹😂

Please also note the athletic specimen pictured above. That is Olive in SPORT MODE, demonstrating that land seals can achieve remarkable speeds when the situation calls for it. 🤣

She is sweet, hilarious, ridiculously lovable, and we are completely obsessed with her. 💙

Olive, you magnificent little land seal, never change. 🦭❤️

Pet Spotlight: Moose, Moe & Muffins! 🐱💙

We have some newer members of the MSM family to introduce, and apparently each one came with a completely different job description. 😂

Muffins is the distinguished lady of the household. 👑 She’s chill, confident, and was perfectly happy to be out supervising the humans and collecting the pets she was obviously owed.

Moe was supposed to be shy. Then he discovered we had treats. Suddenly, shyness became a problem for Future Moe. 😂 He also earned the title of resident puzzle solver, because snacks taste better when you have successfully completed an intellectual challenge to obtain them. 🧠

And then there’s Moose. Moose’s preferred method of socializing seems to be mysteriously appearing around corners and observing our staff. 👀😂 Just checking. Watching. Gathering information.

By the end of our time together, all three had agreed on one very important thing: the Churu people can stay. 🤣💙

We’re so happy to have Moose, Moe, and Muffins as part of our MSM family, and we can’t wait to get to know these three even better! 🥰

Pet Spotlight: Max, Rosie & Skye! 🐾
Since we’re celebrating Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, it seems like the perfect time to shine the spotlight on Max, Rosie, and Skye! 💙 These adorable little nuggets found their way to their forever family through adoption, and we’re pretty darn lucky they eventually found their way into our MSM family too. 🥹

These three may be small, but please do not confuse small with quiet. 😂 They have thoughts. They have opinions. And sometimes those opinions simply MUST be announced to everyone within an appropriate radius. 📢

They’re still learning, we’re still learning them, and somewhere along the way we’ve all become pretty good friends. Every visit brings a little more trust, a little more understanding, and usually at least one moment that makes us laugh. 💙

We absolutely adore these three little nuggets and all the personality that comes with them.

Max, Rosie & Skye, we love you very much. And yes, we heard you the first time. 😂💙

💙 October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! 💙
Somewhere in a shelter right now, there is a dog patiently waiting to become someone’s best friend, professional couch warmer, walking buddy, snack inspector, and reason they can never go to the bathroom alone again. 🐶😂

This month is all about giving those dogs a little extra love and reminding everyone that some of the most incredible companions are waiting for their chance to go HOME. ❤️

We also want to give a special shoutout to our friends at the Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County 🐾 They have a very special place in our hearts here at My Sweet Michelle. Our owner, Tiana, actually worked there once upon a time, so we’ve seen firsthand just how much love and work goes into helping local animals find the families they deserve. 💙

If adoption isn’t in the cards for you right now, that doesn’t mean you can’t help! Foster. Volunteer. Donate. Share adoptable dogs. Support your local shelters and rescues. Even something as simple as sharing a post can put the right dog in front of the right person.

And if you ARE thinking about adding a dog to your family... maybe go take a little innocent peek at the adoptable dogs at the Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County. 👀

🖤🐾 National Black Dog Day Pet Spotlight: Percy! 🐾🖤

Everyone knows Percy because, well... Percy is the coolest. 😎😂

This handsome boy loves his walks, learning new tricks, and, most importantly, finding the perfect patch of grass to dramatically roll around in like he has absolutely nowhere else to be. 🌱🤣

Smart, goofy, ridiculously lovable, and always ready for his next adventure. We love our Percy! 🖤🐶

🐾💙 Pet Spotlight: Zeus! 💙🐾

Zeus is a Belgian Malinois, which means he came factory-equipped with approximately 700% more energy than the average dog. 😂⚡

He LOVES his walks, has places to go and things to investigate, and he really does try very hard to be the goodest boy. 🥹 Sometimes the Malinois settings just kick in first. 😂

Sweet, handsome, energetic, and always keeping his sitters on their toes. We absolutely adore our Zeus! 💙🐾

The My Sweet Michelle team traded our usual furry clients for a room FULL of cats! 😂🐱💙
Last Friday, our crew got to spend some much-deserved time together at Mac Tabby Cat Cafe in downtown Concord, where we cuddled kitties, played with kitties, talked about kitties... basically, we really branched out from our normal lives. 🤣🐾

The biggest THANK YOU goes to our absolutely wonderful client, Cathy Cook, who sponsored this entire outing for our team! 🥹💙 Cathy, your generosity means more to us than we can say. We adore you, we adore your pups, and we are so incredibly lucky to have people like you as part of the MSM family. Thank you for giving our crew such a fun afternoon together! 🥰🐾

We spend so much of our time running from house to house taking care of everyone else's babies, so getting everyone in one room to relax, laugh, and collectively lose our minds over cats was pretty special. 😂🐈

And a huge thank you to the wonderful folks and furry residents at Mac Tabby Cat Café for having us! We had an absolute blast. 💙🐱

🐰💙 International Rabbit Day Pet Spotlight: Bun Bun! 💙🐰

Today is International Rabbit Day, so obviously we had to celebrate this ridiculously adorable little gentleman. 🥹

Bun Bun is basically a tiny cloud with ears, an excellent eyeliner game, and enough cuteness to get away with absolutely anything. 😂🐇 Just look at that face. We rest our case.

We love getting to care for little friends of all shapes, sizes, and species, and Bun Bun is certainly one very special bunny! 💙🥕🐾

Happy International Rabbit Day to Bun Bun and all the precious buns out there! 🐰✨
