The detailed care notes, the favorite toy, the bedtime routine, the nicknames, the extra treats (and yes, asking for lots of photos!) all help us get to know your pet and care for them in a way that feels familiar.

Those little details matter because every pet is different, and every family has their own routine.

We have a bit of a soft spot for black cats around here.

Unfortunately, they're often the last to be adopted from shelters, even though they're just as playful, affectionate, and full of personality as any other cat.

Today feels like the perfect excuse to celebrate these beautiful kitties and remind them (and everyone else) that every cat deserves a loving home.

Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most 👇

Making sure the water bowl is full. Giving a few extra belly rubs before we head out. Remembering medications. Tossing a favorite toy one more time. Taking a minute to notice if something seems a little different than usual.

Those little moments may not seem like much, but they all add up to helping your pet feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

We know every pet has their own routine and personality, and it's the little details that help us care for them the way you would 💕

Our pets can't tell us when something feels different, so they rely on us to notice the little things 💙

Sometimes the earliest signs that something isn't quite right are small changes in their everyday routine. Maybe they're eating a little less, drinking more water than usual, sleeping differently, or just not acting like themselves.

That doesn't always mean something is wrong, but it's worth paying attention.

Getting to know what's "normal" for your pet is one of the best forms of preventative care. The sooner you notice a change, the sooner you can reach out to your veterinarian if needed.

A little observation today can make a big difference tomorrow 🐾
