Meet ‘Toby’, minature Yorkie looking for his new home through no fault of his own.
He’s a very sweet gentle boy, affectionate and full of love for everyone he meets. Loves being petted and snuggling under your arm for a snooze. He’s your typical ‘lapdog’, once you sit down he’s up on the lap for a cuddle

Mixing well with the other dogs in foster, loves to go for little walks and potter around the garden
He can happily live a home with another dogs or as an only dog once he has someone to shower with love

Nacho is a three-year-old neutered male poodle mix, and we think he may have some Australian Shepherd in him—making him an adorable possible Aussiedoodle. Whatever his mix, one thing’s for sure: he’s as sweet as they come!
Nacho is a happy, playful boy who loves spending time with people and other dogs. His favorite game is chasing a tennis ball, and he could keep you entertained for hours with his goofy, fun-loving personality. When he’s not playing, he enjoys hanging out in the yard with his foster mom, soaking up the sunshine and companionship.

Luna is a very special girl who was sadly dropped off at the shelter by her family because they were moving 🥹

She's a bit shy at first, but give her about an hour, and she'll be your new best friend, ready for endless belly rubs.

Luna is a pro at apartment life, especially when she has a playful doggy friend by her side. She's great with other dogs her size and loves to follow her humans around the house. She's also a big fan of toys and playtime! 🐶🐶

She's looking for a home where her humans are around often, or even better, work from home. Luna isn't a fan of the crate, so she's hoping for a family that will let her sleep on the bed or close by.

A little heads-up: Luna is a bit of an escape artist. She can jump high and squeeze through small gaps in fences. If she finds a home with a yard, it must be completely secure to keep her safe.

Dumpling is one little ham who seems to enjoy the attention he gets from people. Little doe has the most expressive blue eyes. He's got a unique eye color and a personality that is just as unique. He's so good and enjoys playing with other small dogs. He's even okay with cats.

He eats well and enjoys tummy rubs and lots of attention.

Everyone who has met him says he's a great dog. All the volunteers said the same thing, and we all love him.

Dumplings are good friends with Balty the minidoodle and Mo the Schnauzer Havanese x (Mo is coming up for adoption). Wouldn't it be nice to have two dogs together? Dogs are pack animals, after all.

Additional notes from shelter staff:

Dumpling was initially nervous, but over time , he opened up beautifully and revealed his sweet, playful personality. He is now bouncy, affectionate, and loves engaging with people. Dumpling gets along well with other dogs and enjoys social time. He is housebroken, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Good with cats.

Meet 🥰Malibu

Malibu is a 3 year old Yorkie mix, weighing about 8 lbs. With her quirky little personality, she balances quiet cuddles with random zoomies in the fenced yard. She has a youthful drive which is up for a good play time in the yard. She has lived with other dogs of all sizes, but unsure of how she would do with cats, although she seems calm enough to possibly be okay with them.

Per the breed and smaller nature- She seems to prefer a calmer household. So we are looking for a home with older kids (over 10 yrs old) and other dogs who won't play too rough with her.

She is doing well with housetraining and just starting to work on crate training as well. She will now automatically go in her crate (following the other dogs lead) when foster tells the dogs it's dinner time.

Her one little thing is that, she is the biggest fan of car rides.

She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready for her forever home!

She is available for adoption now.

(Okay, obviously that’s a joke — we get small dogs all the time. They usually get adopted right after their mandatory stray hold is up. But Peaslee? He’s been here 28 days. Which, in small dog time, is basically forever.)

Peaslee is 5 years old, 10lbs, and the definition of a Velcro dog. He will attach himself to you like he personally invented the idea of Velcro. He’s sweet, loving, clingy, sometimes nervous, occasionally dramatic, and absolutely obsessed with belly rubs. He’s… the epitome of a small dog. But he's also cute as heck, and somehow has been waiting almost a month for a home?!

If you’ve been thinking about adding a little companion to your life, Doris Day might be your girl. 🐾💛

She’s a small Shih Tzu with a gentle soul, and she’s currently looking for a quiet, peaceful home where she can really settle in. She hasn't had the best start of life and as a result is a little reserved and timid, but she's doing her best to put on a brave face and learn to be confident. A new home and a fresh start will do her wonders.

Doris doesn’t ask for much — just a comfy spot to nap, all the treatos she could ask for, and someone to love her. She’s not interested in other dogs or busy households with young kids, so she’d be perfect for a retiree or someone who enjoys a slower pace.

She’s 1 year and 8 months old, with a calm temperament well beyond her age. She can live with full time workers.

If you can imagine starting your mornings with a cup of tea and Doris by your side — or enjoying a quiet evening walk together — come on. She’s waiting, hoping for a home where she can finally relax and be loved.

In the meantime we have several shih tzus and mixes (Sophie, Choco, Scrappy, Oscar) and LOTS of other small dogs available
Meet Smurfette!

Her eyes always look like she’s stunned and horrified by what she sees in the world around her. We can’t blame her. She was terrified when she was abandoned and just plastered herself in the corner of her kennel at a local animal control trying to pretend she wasn’t there and quietly having an internal anxiety attack. We aren’t sure where she came from- she acts a bit like a puppymill survivor and has warmed up to us quickly following the other little dogs around and a major cuddler. She’s a sweet gentle shy shih tzu, we think about 3-4 years old maybe, has been spayed and updated on shots. She would like a calmer adult home with at least one other little doggie friend to help her feel safe.
