Berkshire pork is a heritage breed of pig, which was discovered over 300 years ago in Berkshire.

Today Berkshire Pork is the most highly sought after pork in the world. Unlike commodity pork or “The Other White Meat” Berkshire pork is visibly different. It has a darker richer color with an abundance of intramuscular marbling. Berkshire pork is prized for juiciness, flavor and tenderness. It is thought by many to be the Kobe beef of pork. 🥓

Two years ago yesterday, we celebrated our marriage (8/10/16) by having a hog roast on our 10 year dating anniversary . Who would have thought that 2 years later we would be raising our own hogs and just living the dream! So happy that all of our dreams are turning into reality! ❤🐖🍂
