I have always had a passion and a love for animals, dogs have always been my favorite! I understand animals and how they work and think. I am always looking to expand my knowledge. The "hard to train/problem animals" have always held a special place in my heart.

Currently trying to help an injured feral cat that my friends family found in a live trap by accident. After seeing that the cat was in need of help we have moved it to a large dog kennel with all the necessities. His injuries are healing well. But his trust of humans still lacks they want to get him fixed, and if possible make him at least tolerate people before setting him free. They live on a farm with alot of land they are thinking some one dumped him off on their street. He would be able to live a good life on the farm.

Miss Royal is up for adoption at Grateful Acres Pets!
I got to hang out with this beautiful girl yesterday we had a picnic and worked on leave it, making eye contact, and taking a treat easy. See needs sombody who will take the time to work with her and understand her. She is a little unsure and needs someone with compassion to build trust and leadership with. She is a little finicky when it comes to her food but we are working on it, she is so sweet and very beautiful!

Hey everybody I want you to meet Ginger! We are working on basic obedience, manners, and leash skills. We are going to be working towards being off leash trained. Her owners have been doing an awesome job practicing and being consistent with her training!

I have some awesome news to share! Grateful Acrs Pets and I are going to be partnering together. I will be training their adoptable dogs getting them ready for life with their new forever families. Wanted to send a huge thank you to everybody who came out to the Grove City Canine Carnival this past Saturday, also to all the vendors who were there along with Pet Valu for sponsoring the event. Updated to add: There’s some discussion on the Sky Dogs share of this post about the importance of asking permission to introduce your dog to another dog first. We absolutely agree that is part of keeping all dogs safe— you should never allow your dog to approach a new dog without permission from the new dogs handler. But even with permission, we encourage you to remember these tips. Just because dogs seem eager, and handlers are ok, doesn’t mean new dogs in a new environment are immediately going to behave predictably.

It’s the best time of year! The time when weekend festivals are either dog friendly, or specifically organized for our pups! Please remember that no matter how well you know your dog, you don’t know how other dogs will respond to a new dog, even though yours may be the sweetest nicest calmest kid on the block! Hold your leash short, and watch for any signs of discomfort so all pups socialize safely!
