My fall planned breeding with Valkyrie is a cross that I’ve already done before. I have crossed Valkyrie’s grandmother, Djanga, to the male’s sire and produced the dogs in the pictures below. They were easily some of my best dogs that I’ve produced, doubling up on different Schone Stadt lines. The dogs from that breeding were social, some of the thickest bone and biggest heads I’ve seen, tough, and would absolutely bite for real. Several of those dogs were trained to be real world personal protection dogs. And I’m expecting a similar outcome with this planned breeding with Valkyrie. I will definitely be keeping back at least one puppy and a spot for a male has already been spoken for, for this litter.
What I expect Valkyrie to add differently to this cross vs the one I did prior with her grandmother, is higher prey drive and faster twitch, making for some very flashy obedience and powerful protection work. Valkyrie will also bring extreme hunt drive, which can lend us several detection prospects as well.
She is due to come into heat October, making for a tentative due date in December.
