Happy 2nd Birthday to this Jerk! You test my patience almost on a daily basis. You are the true representation of a sour patch kid, naughty and snuggly. Glued to me and jealous of others, but no matter how big of a pain in the ass you are, I love Callahan!

To round out our TMNT herd we have added April O'Neil (yellow collar, black and white) and Shredder (green collar, tri-color) to our family! April is full of sass and puts the boys in their place. Shredder doesn't make much of a villain, he is the sweetest bottle baby and follows me everywhere!

Happy 1st Birthday to our first little piglets Pip & Link! I can't believe it has been a year since you entered this crazy world. Pip your drive to torment your pig dad by un-tying his shoes, putting dirt back in holes he is digging and knocking over his tools, makes me crack up every single time. Link, though you are overly lazy and quite chunky you love your attention and bite the knees of anyone ignoring you. You have created my love for pigs and now I cant imagine life without you, even when you break out of your pens and free range the yard while I am working and catch a glimpse of you out my window and have to take you back to your barn. You keep life entertaining and keep me on my toes!

Happy National Piggy Day to our lil oinkers Pip Squeek, Sausage Link, Maple Bacon, Nera & Oscar Mayer! You bring daily entertainment and laughter to the farm, never in a million years did I think I would be a "Pig Person" and here they are some of my favorites with so much personality and attitude!

Yesterday we welcomed the newest baby to McClung Acres. Meet Carson! He is a 2 month old purebred mini/mid highalnd bull calf. I am one tired cow mama adjusting to this 6 am bottle feeding, but he is so worth it! Thank you Kenli Strande for providing so much care and knowledge through this journey!

2025 has been a crazy one as we spent our first full year here on the acreage. This year we took in a total of 18 piglets, adopting out 10, losing 5, keeping 3 and adopting an additional 2. We welcomed Nacho (now Duke) the donkey and found him the perfect home with 2 new jack brothers. Brought home the orange fluff nugget Topher, thought was for a barn cat, but he is loving his life on the couch 🤣. Welcomed 2 fainting goats, who made their way to a home with 4 fainting ladies. Lost my heart cow Clementine, yet added Caroline and Catalina to our heard and latest addition of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Goats. 39 ANIMALS (not including a litter of golden puppies we puppy sat for a total of 2 weeks) have made thier presence known here in 1 year, ending 2025 with 19 animals calling McClung Acres their home. I wouldn't give this life for anything.
