🐾 Dog of the Day: Happy!
Her name says it all.
Happy is a sweet, playful Hound Mix pup born January 13, 2026 — and she has been spreading joy every single day since. This girl wags her tail like it's a full-time job, and honestly? We're here for it.
She loves people, plays beautifully with other dogs, and would likely do just fine with cats too. Add in a big love for toys, games, and snuggle sessions, and you've got one very full heart in a very small package.
Happy is also incredibly smart. She's already nailing kennel training and potty training — this girl is ready to grow into the best version of herself with the right family by her side.

These 17 pups left shelter life behind in Texas and made the trip to Colorado for a second chance at the lives they deserve. From overcrowded kennels to loving foster homes, their next chapter starts now.

We are set up and ready to introduce you to some incredible rescue dogs. Whether you want to find a new best friend or just want to support our local rescue community with some extra belly rubs, you belong here.

Because of this incredible village, everyone made the transport today! ❤️
As you watch the van pull away, remember — every dog on board got a chance because someone said "yes." Sometimes that yes is for months. Sometimes it's just for a few days. Every foster matters.
We are still in need of fosters. Some of the amazing people who stepped up are only available for a short time, and we need others to help carry the baton. Even temporary coverage can be the bridge that keeps a dog safe and allows us to keep saving lives.

Say hello to our June Paw-some Pup of the Month: Boudreaux! 🐾
Born in December 2023, this handsome Black Mouth Cur mix (we like to call him Bou) is a massive bundle of joy. He is incredibly social, energetic, and deeply affectionate with his people.
Bou is the ultimate best friend. He loves a good adventure and is just as happy hiking a mountain trail as he is snuggling up on the couch for a relaxing movie night. Because he loves soaking up all your attention, he thrives best as the only dog in the home. He is also a wonderful match for families with kids over 12, or younger children who feel comfortable around large dogs.

This is our final plea to bring them home. Less than 8 hours 🐾
Tomorrow morning, Saturday, June 6, a transport of rescue dogs is scheduled to arrive in Colorado Springs. But they can ONLY make the trip if we secure fosters — and we have less than 8 hours to make that happen. This is the absolute last chance to get them out of the shelter and into a safe, comfortable home.
Please note: These sweet pups are not yet available for adoption. Our only goal today is finding them a temporary place to land.
We urgently need our community to step up. By opening your doors, you are directly saving a life.
