Is this a mushy post? Yes. But I can’t help it and it needs said.

As I finished up chores tonight I got emotional. This is NOT JUST a job to me. This is a dream come true and every time I think about it I feel like someday I’ll wake up.

I graduated high school in Gregory in 2009 and went into college. After I got my Bachelors degree in Human Services and landed my dream career, I thought life was set. I left that job due to health issues and PTSD. Went to another job which I thought was the one, only to be faced with crippling health issues of Lyme disease and again had to quit. Life was a challenge and many times I felt like a failure.

I then got into my dogs, my own dogs. And everything after just naturally unfolded.

I spend my days surrounded by dogs. My own dogs and your dogs. This isn't just a job to me. It’s my passion, my dream that I never knew I had, or needed, and truly a blessing. Every single dog that enters my doors mean so much to me. They know and feel so much. I treat them as I do my kids.

To say I am so very thankful for each and every person who has trusted me with their dogs would be an understatement.

Your support means the world to me and my family. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey and for allowing me to do what I love each and every day.

Turf. Done. ✅ I will say, I will pour concrete all day long, any day, before laying turf again 😂😂.

Ended up being a late night but we got the turf laid out and glued. Now have to stretch and secure it.
