About a month ago I got a call from a friend about five Chihuahuas that needed rescuing from the horrible conditions they were living in. They were living outside in the cold. The rescue group I Foster for was kind enough to rescue them & sponsor them. Three of the five are heartworm positive & New Beginnings Animal Rescue is in need of donations to help cover the cost of their medical care. Please consider donating. Every little bit helps, even if it's just $5. These sweet little dogs have been given a chance to have a much better life

Has anyone ever boarded their dog at the Petsmart hotel? I am considering boarding our new little fur baby & I like what I see of their facility. I like that they are not in cages, but in rooms with a bed & a tv. Just wondering if anyone had ever left their dog there and how they liked it.

This woman's act of self-sacrifice for this dying dog is absolutely heartwarming. Instead of letting this dog suffer, she made the difficult choice to save him, even if it meant going to jail for it.

"It's not the breed, it's the human behind the dog. Can you imagine if Junior (A Pitt Bull) said "I don't want a mexican guy to be my owner."

We have to see it the way they see it. They don't see race. They see the heart of the human, they see the honesty of a human, and the integrity of a human.

So, that just shows you, you know that society, even though it's very smart, it's still pretty ignorant & fearful. Because it's a powerful breed, but not necessarily have to use his power to harm.

And that's why Junior & Daddy (Two Pitt Bulls) are such key members of my pack, because it shows with action that it's not the breed, it's the human behind the dog. So, the key is not to give up.

The key is to educate politicians, the key is to educate everybody that thinks this breed has something innate.

People forget the Little Rascals. The dog in the Little Rascals was a Pitt Bull. So they can also become movie stars.
