While we’re celebrating with family and friends, remember that the holiday can be one of the most stressful days of the year for our pets. Here are a few tips to help keep them safe:

❤️ Keep pets indoors during fireworks, even if they normally enjoy being outside.
�🏠 Create a quiet, comfortable space with their favorite bed, toys, and some calming music or the TV.
�🏷️ Double-check that collars fit properly and ID tags are up to date. If your pet is microchipped, make sure your contact information is current.
�🚪 Keep doors and gates securely closed—frightened pets can bolt in an instant.
�🍔 Keep people food, alcohol, sparklers, fireworks, and glow sticks well out of reach.
�🐶 Take dogs for a walk before the festivities begin so they can burn off some energy and use the bathroom before the fireworks start.

If your pet struggles with anxiety during fireworks, talk with your veterinarian ahead of time about calming options.

🇺🇸 Keep Your Pets Safe This 4th of July! 🎆🐾

The fireworks may be fun for us—but they can be scary and even dangerous for our furry friends. Here are a few simple tips to help keep your pets safe and calm this holiday:

🔒 Keep them indoors – Even if they’re used to being outside, loud fireworks can cause pets to panic and run away.
📻 Create a calm space – Play soft music or white noise to help muffle the sound.
🆔 Double-check ID tags – Make sure your pet’s collar and microchip info are up to date, just in case.
