Where second chances begin!

At Cat Rescue of Cloverdale, every single one of our kittens learns what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Many of these little ones came to us orphaned, taken from their mamas far too soon, and rescued from questionable situations where they likely wouldn't have survived.

When they step through our doors, we pour all the love we have into them—providing the medical care, nourishment, and warmth they need to thrive.

And then comes mealtime! As they line up like a perfect, adorable chorus line, it is one of few quiet moments in the house. Sandwiched right between high-energy play and cozy naps, the room fills with the sweetest sound: a soft, synchronized harmony of happy little munching.

Every bowl filled, every tummy full, and every kitten getting the brand-new start they deserve.

How You Can Help:

Adopt: Give one (or a pair!) of these sweet kittens their forever home.
Foster: Open your heart and home to help us save more orphaned kittens.
Donate: Help cover medical care, formula, and food for our growing rescue family. https://catrescueofcloverdale.org/donate/

Introducing Jude and Mr. Mustard!

These two rambunctious, loving brothers were born on May 22, 2026, and raised with tons of affection in a foster home alongside their Mama (who has already been adopted into her forever home!). Now, it's their turn to find a family together.

Jude and Mr. Mustard are stunning Lynx Point Siamese mix kittens—and one of them even sports a unique Lynx Point/Snowshoe look! They are the most charming little twins who do absolutely everything together, following each other from room to room and bringing instant joy wherever they land.

If you love snuggly kittens, Jude is an extra special cuddler who will purr his way right into your lap, while both boys share endless playful energy and affection.

Neutered, vaccinated (Rabies & FVRCP), microchipped, dewormed, and flea-treated

Because they are an inseparable pair who thrive on each other's companionship, we are looking for a devoted home that will adopt them together.

If you are ready to welcome this sweet duo into your life, send us a direct message or submit an adoption application today. https://catrescueofcloverdale.org/cat-adoption/

An Update on Little Knox!

Knox had a big day yesterday with a long drive down to San Francisco, where he saw a fantastic veterinarian for the first time. She is very positive about his upcoming surgery. While we all know there are inherent risks, this procedure is essential to give him the chance at the long, happy, and normal life he deserves.

Knox is up to 1.9 lbs. That is an encouraging step up from his 1.7 lb weight check last week. Our goal is to get him to at least 2 lbs—and ideally a little more—before his procedure. He was also started on a short course of antibiotics to help clear up a mild upper respiratory infection that recently popped up.

Despite the long trip, Knox was an absolute dream passenger. He slept through most of the drive, only offering a few curious meows along the way.

What’s Next for Knox:

Surgery Scheduling: We will be scheduling his surgery for mid-to-late September, giving him time to gain a bit more weight and completely clear his stuffy nose.

Pre-Op Care: Blood work will be completed on the morning of his surgery.

How You Can Help:
If you’d like to support Knox’s veterinary care and upcoming surgery, please consider contributing:

We will keep everyone updated on his weight gains and surgery date!

We have some wonderful news to share about Miss Chloe!

As many of you know, we rescued this sweet 13-year-old street cat in late July, and we are thrilled to report that she has officially moved into a foster home with a fantastic family.

Chloe is currently living like absolute royalty. She’s getting all the love she could ask for, complete with daily brushings (her new coat is coming in very soft) and home-cooked chicken for dinner. She is doing great on her medication, and at her checkup yesterday with Dr. Smith at Animal Hospital of Cloverdale, we learned she has already gained a full pound!

In her new environment, Chloe has officially been promoted to Office Manager. As you can see from her picture, she takes her supervisory duties very seriously—mostly by commandeering the main office chair and demanding pets on her schedule. Not a bad life for a former street cat!

Thank you to everyone in our community for your continued support, love, and interest in Chloe’s recovery. We will keep you updated as she continues to thrive.

If you would like to make a donation to support the ongoing cost of Chloe's care—or help us care for the other cats and kittens currently in our rescue—you can donate here: https://catrescueofcloverdale.org/donate/

Tiny Knox is only 10 weeks old, but he’s already fighting the biggest battle of his life.

After coming to us x-rays revealed Knox has a congenital condition called Peritoneal Pericardial Diaphragmatic Hernia (PPDH). A hole in his diaphragm is allowing his liver to crowd near his heart and lungs—making it hard to breathe.

We’ve secured a skilled veterinarian who agreed to perform this procedure at a reduced rate. Even with the discount, the surgical care, specialized anesthesia, and post-op recovery are a major hurdle for our small, local rescue.

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, 100% of your tax-deductible gift goes directly to Knox’s care:

Surgical Repair: Repositioning his organs and repairing his diaphragm.

Specialized Anesthesia: Keeping Knox safe and monitored throughout the procedure.

Post-Op Care: Pain management, medications, and follow-up x-rays.

Every dollar and every share brings baby Knox one step closer to the healthy life he deserves. Please consider donating or sharing his story to help give him a second chance!

Thank you for all the support!

At just 9 weeks old, tiny Knox is holding on with everything he’s got.

Looking into this sweet baby’s eyes, you’d never guess the fight happening inside his little body. Knox was diagnosed with a severe condition called Peritoneal Pericardial Diaphragmatic Hernia (PPDH). This means a hole in his diaphragm is allowing his abdominal organs to crowd into the sac surrounding his heart and lungs—making every breath a struggle.

Specialty surgery can repair the hole, clear his chest, and give Knox the long, play-filled, happy life he deserves. A deeply compassionate veterinarian has offered to perform the surgery at a reduced cost, but as a small, local 501(c)(3) non-profit, we still can't bridge the financial gap alone.

Knox hasn't given up, and neither will we.

Please help us raise the funds to give this blue-eyed baby a chance at a long and happy life!

We have started a GoFundMe and a PayPal link in his name. You can also mail your donation to PO BOX 354, Cloverdale, CA 95425
