I know I haven’t posted any grooms since Tuesday. It’s been a long week and my back is bothering me. I’ll get them all up tomorrow, every precious little pup. Enjoy your Friday night. I’m going to relax and enjoy mine!

READ or you may be looking for a new groomer!!!!

Although I run a pet service and live on an acreage, this is private property and also the home of a FAMILY! ALL dogs must be carried in or on secure leashes. You and your dog are not welcome to wander our property! WALK your dog at HOME before EVERY appointment! Do NOT show up early and walk your dog here! It causes a safety issue for the dog still on my table that can see you out the windows and anxiety and excitement for dogs in outside boarding runs! If your dog does 💩 on the way in or out, CLEAN it up! My next client, my husband, and my kids don’t want to step in it.

It is summer!!!! If my daughter is outside playing basketball or volleyball, etc, and you feel the need to pull up and park in the exact space she is playing in this large drive and push her out of that space, you are going to be asked to leave immediately and will not be welcome back. Be kind, courteous, and safe ESPECIALLY to my child!

Show up for your appointment on time but no more than 10 minutes early. If you arrive more than 10 minutes early, take a drive down to the river. Do NOT pull in my drive and sit there and upset the dogs in outside runs in boarding, and again, cause a safety issue for the dog currently on the table.

I am a one on one groomer. You are expected to show up with in 45 minutes of notification that your dog is done! Dogs not being picked up on time will be charged an addition fee of $10 an hour for unscheduled boarding.
BUT PLEASE, do not show up if you haven’t been notified that your dog is done and sit in my drive and cause a safety issue for your dog on the table that can see you and will get excited.

Last but not least. I love me job and want to keep it that way! If you are not willing to keep your dog on my schedule at least every 10 weeks (which honestly is even too long if you aren’t brushing regularly), I DO NOT want to be your groomer. I DO NOT want to have to shave your dog every visit. While dematting is out of the question completely if you don’t stay on schedule, even shaving is traumatic for them at a certain point and that becomes traumatic for me as well. I don’t want to be frustrated and upset at the end of my day.

Three today. I forgot to take 15 year old Coco’s picture. I’ve been grooming him for years and today he decided he was having it and I had to call Mom & Dad back to complete the groom safely.

GO TEAM! I had Jack for a week before Memorial Day while his owner was hospitalized. Unfortunately, he needed to go back for a while so Jack came to stay with me yesterday. My boarding is full as of noon today so Donna at BRCC is taking him for a while. Thankful for all the dog loving, generous, and kind people in our community.
