Today is the last day of the month, and what an incredible month it has been for The Daily Kibble!

We are extremely proud to share that together we helped 69 lives this month. That is something truly worth celebrating. Not only were 69 dogs and kittens helped, but 69 souls were given a chance to escape suffering on the streets and prevented from continuing the cycle of unwanted litters.

Sadly, not every story had the ending we hoped for. Out of those 69 lives, 3 had to be humanely euthanized due to devastating injuries caused by being hit by vehicles or severe dog attacks. While we could not save them, we were able to end their suffering and show them compassion, love, and dignity in their final moments.

Helping these 69 souls would not have been possible without our amazing rescue partners, dedicated volunteers, compassionate fosters, and every donor who pledged and supported these efforts. Your kindness and generosity make every rescue possible and give these animals a second chance at life.

Mientras nos preparamos para la temporada de huracanes aquí en el Condado de Liberty, Texas, queremos recordarles a todos que las mascotas también son familia. 🐾
Cada año durante las tormentas, muchos animales son dejados atrás, se pierden, resultan heridos o son abandonados en condiciones peligrosas. Por favor hagan un plan AHORA antes de que ocurra una emergencia.
Aquí hay algunos consejos importantes para la seguridad de sus mascotas:
• Asegúrense de que sus mascotas tengan collar y placas de identificación actualizadas�• Mantengan los registros de vacunas y documentos importantes en una bolsa impermeable�• Preparen suficiente comida, agua, medicamentos y suministros para al menos 5–7 días�• Tengan listas las correas, transportadoras y jaulas�• Nunca dejen a las mascotas amarradas afuera durante tormentas o inundaciones�• Infórmense sobre refugios, hoteles o lugares de evacuación que acepten mascotas�• Pongan microchip a sus mascotas si es posible

Big things are happening for The Daily Kibble of Cleveland, TX! 🐾✨
We are so excited to officially have our new business cards as we continue growing and expanding our mission within the community. What started with simply feeding hungry street dogs has grown into so much more — helping pets in need, supporting feeders and rescuers, educating the community, and advocating for animals who have no voice.
These cards may seem small, but to us they represent hope, growth, connection, and the incredible support behind our mission. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in us, support us, donate, share our posts, and help us make a difference for the dogs and pets of Cleveland, Texas and surrounding communities.

🚨 Hurricane Season Is Here — Please Don’t Forget Your Pets 🚨
As we prepare for hurricane season here in Liberty County, Texas, we want to remind everyone that pets are family too. 🐾
Every year during storms, many animals are left behind, lost, injured, or abandoned in dangerous conditions. Please make a plan NOW before an emergency happens.
Here are a few important pet safety tips:
• Make sure your pets have collars with updated ID tags
• Keep vaccination records and important documents in a waterproof bag
• Prepare extra food, water, medications, and supplies for at least 5–7 days
• Have leashes, carriers, and crates ready to go
• Never leave pets chained outside during storms or flooding
• Know which shelters, hotels, or evacuation locations are pet friendly
• Microchip your pets if possible
If you see stray animals during severe weather, please report them or help when it is safe to do so. Many street dogs and outdoor animals are especially vulnerable during hurricanes and flooding.
Let’s work together as a community to keep both people and animals safe this hurricane season. ❤️

We are truly grateful for the incredible fosters who seize the moment to save a life, and for the dedicated rescues that stand behind these journeys and give 100% every single day.

Today, we are overwhelmed with emotion as we look at new photos of Crunchy Roll—the severely injured kitten that was brought to our vaccine clinic last month who wasn't expected to survive.

When he was first rescued, Crunchy Roll was fighting for his life. He was battling a severe upper respiratory infection, a painful skin infection, and serious injuries to his eyes. The odds were stacked against him, but from the very beginning, we knew he was a fighter. We could see the determination in him, and he made it clear that he wanted to live.

Seeing his transformation today brings us to tears—happy tears. We can hardly believe this is the same kitten. His journey is a powerful reminder of what can happen when compassionate people come together to give an animal a chance.

Thank you to Three Little Pitties Rescue and everyone who played a role in saving Crunchy Roll. Because of you, he is not just surviving—he is thriving. ❤️

Wow! We are truly overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support for Oso.❣️
We want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out, sent messages, shared his story, and offered to help. The response from our community has been nothing short of amazing.
We are happy to report that Oso is now safe with Who Rescued Who Texas and is in excellent hands. He has settled in with his foster family and visited the veterinarian this morning. According to his foster mama, he is the sweetest boy, incredibly calm, and did wonderfully during his clinic visit.
