I became a Certified Dog Trainer in 2015, so this page is about my business and all things dogs!! I got my first dog at the age of 5. Dog Training was born.

That is when my dad convinced me it was a “big boy job” to clean up the back yard after the dog. I fell for it, and my passion for dogs was born!!! Since having grown up, and actually having become a “big boy,” I have made sure my life has been spent surrounded by animals. Over the years, I have worked for multiple animal shelters, a major pet supply retailer, and have volunteered with several res

cue groups. Once I decided to make a commitment to becoming a professional dog trainer, I chose to study for certification through Animal Behavior College. Choosing to enroll in the program was an easy decision. Their philosophies and basic training methods meshed well with my beliefs. Because of that, I was able to add to, and expand on, the training methods I was already using. I graduated as an Animal Behavior College Certified Trainer in May 2015 and D.A.S. In September of 2015, I earned my certification for dog and cat first aid and CPR from the American Red Cross.

Hello Beachwood!!! Thrilled to announce that beginning on 9/8/25, I will be offering group obedience classes through the city’s Parks and Recreation Department at the Beachwood Community Center! I can’t wait to get started and help more dogs and their people!!!

As we enter Fourth of July weekend, we at City Dogs Cleveland/Cleveland Animal Care and Control need your help! The Fourth of July is traditionally the busiest time of year for shelters across the country, and unfortunately we are ALREADY FULL!

How can you help?

1) Keep your pets home!
Help us reduce the number of lost pets we take in this weekend by keeping yours safe and secure at home. Dogs may bolt after being startled by fireworks, or wander away if gates or doors are left open by visitors coming over for the cookout, and more. Keep it safe and cautious when it comes to taking your pets outside this weekend - make sure pets are on a leash at all times or securely fenced in a yard (and always monitored!)

Fireworks are scary for many pets, so make a plan now to help them get through the loudest nights. Prepare an inner room with a comfy, cave-like spot where they can retreat to feel secure. Plan to play the TV, calming music, and/or white noise. Prepared a couple frozen, stuffed yummy treats (like a kong) to help occupy them if possible.

2) Help us get lost pets home quickly!
Check NOW to make sure that your pets identification (tags and microchip) are up-to-date. It is our goal to reunite lost pets as quickly as possible with their owners, and it's so much easier to get in touch with owners when pets are wearing proper identification when found by our Animal Care and Control Officers!

If you or anyone you know loses a pet, please contact us right away. We are located at 9203 Detroit Ave and our animal control line is 216-664-3069. If you don't get someone right away, leave a voicemail as these are checked regularly. 3) Have you been considering adoption? NOW is a great time to add a new family member!
