"Cannoli is our fifth fur baby and the newest addition to our family. She joined four adopted big brothers who have quickly become her protectors (and favorite wrestling partners!). Around here, she's definitely the queen.

This photo captures her first days with us. She absolutely lives up to her name—Holy Cannoli! That's her WWE ring name. Her brother Snowball, also known as Snow Squall, is her favorite opponent as they practice their daily wrestling matches."

"I wasn’t planning to adopt an adult cat—I had my heart set on finding a kitten. But the moment I met Ginger, everything changed. She looked like a little lioness with the biggest paws I’d ever seen, and I just knew she was meant to come home with me.

I adopted her when she was around one or two years old, and she’s been the sweetest, silliest girl ever since. She has a big personality to match her big paws. After a lion cut from the groomer, she struts around the house like she owns the place. You’ll usually find her belly-up in her favorite bed, stretched out across the kitchen floor, or perched by the window, completely entertained by the birds and squirrels outside.

Ginger came into my life when it was just the two of us girls. Since then, she’s happily welcomed my partner and our little boy into the family, proving that the biggest hearts sometimes come wrapped in fluffy orange fur.

Having fostered kittens before, I originally intended to care for her until she was healthy and ready to be entrusted to the APL for adoption. But she had other plans. She ended up adopting me instead and has been my constant companion for the past 13 years. Through every chapter of life, she's been right by my side. I hope we're lucky enough to share many more years together!"

She is so lovable and she has a spicy personality with a little "toritude" thrown in! I got her to a be companion to my other cat Honey Doo. And together they have brought me so much happiness. Ginger loves to initiate cuddles with me throughout the night. And boy is she a talker, my friends say it sounds like she is having a conversation with me! Best decision I ever made was deciding to adopt my spicy girl with the beautiful green eyes!!! She feels me with so much joy!!!"

Vaona has already been through so much, and her next big step is the liver shunt surgery we’ve been working so hard to make possible.

We created this Team Vaona shirt as another way to help raise the funds needed for her care and surgery. Every purchase helps support Vaona’s medical journey right now.

At Euclid Beach Cat Project, some cats come to us needing complex, costly medical care far beyond the everyday expenses of rescue. Whenever possible, we work to raise those extraordinary medical costs separately so our general funds can continue caring for all of the other cats who depend on us.
