All Dog Rescue of Florida (ADR) We are now Fido's Hope!! Due to lack of funding, foster homes & volunteers I made the very difficult decision to close All Dog Rescue of Florida.

I just could not do it alone anymore. As of 2023 I am now fostering full time for Misfit Hounds Sanctuary & Rescue. My foster dogs are in Clearwater FL but we adopt out all over US.

It’s $10 Tuesday & Eugene had a vet appointment this morning! We are managing his heart, gallbladder, liver and arthritis. After being neglected and abandoned this sweet boy deserves the world and together we have all been able to take the best care of him.

If anyone has ever wanted to help senior dogs or help me save senior dogs here’s your chance! We’ve have had some major medical procedures with the dogs the last few weeks and we are drowning in vet bills.

Rescuing neglected homeless senior dogs is a lot of medical. A lot. But I’m not going to give up on these dogs and they deserve to get what they need.

You can also call the Vet directly to make a payment/put a credit on our account to help with our bill before 4 PM. We are not allowed to carry an unpaid balance so his surgery has to be paid for when I pick him up. It will be at least $1,500.

Charlee has a vet appt for bloodwork this morning. She recently vomited a couple of times and she was due next month for her senior bloodwork anyway so I moved it up. And, It’s $10 Tuesday.

Rescuing a younger dog (we are a senior dog rescue) she is 3 1/2 years old with Addisons Disease is what we did back in March. She was out of time, the shelter actually held her 2 extra days because I couldn’t get there. Addisions dogs can live a full lifespan as long as they have their daily/monthly meds. Once she’s down to her goal weight her monthly meds will be about $100 +/- a month.

I am fully aware of all the healthy dogs that are dying in shelters every day. I believe every life matters. Her life matters too. It’s not her fault she has Addisions or that her “family” dropped her off at the shelter with this diagnosis landing her immediately on the “list”. She’s now a Fido’s Hope dog. Safe & taken care of and we are looking for an extra special home to love and properly care for this extra special dog.

It’s a Sassy Saturday!

Sass is available for meet & greets! 3 1/2 yr old Pomski. Currently 36 lbs, but has
about 12 more to lose. Loves to go for walks, car rides, fetch toys and be with her people! Crate trained, housebroken, fully vetted & microchipped.

Sass does have Addisons Disease and will need monthly medication given by injection by a veterinarian. She also gets a daily medication. The cost will be about $100 a month. When managed properly, dogs with Addisons Disease do live a full lifespan.

It’s $5 Friday! Or one of our supporters now calls it Fido Friday! It will forever be $5 Friday in our world…. Any amount is appreciated and 💯 goes directly to the dogs medical needs & food.

Sassy has her electrolytes/weight recheck this Sunday and her monthly meds for Addisons Disease. Charlee needs to go in to have her bloodwork checked and Fraggle is having his surgery a week from this Tuesday.

We are in the red after this past week with Sparky’s surgery Monday and Eugene’s procedure Tuesday. But we have to keep going.

I missed Thankful Thursday as I worked 11 hours yesterday and took care of the dogs around my work schedule. But I am thankful & grateful everyday for the love and support that is shown to this little rescue and these dogs.

Video of Fraggle this morning, I had just woke him up to go out so he was still sleepy. ❤️
