By now our followers should know that we rarely take in adult cats. We just don’t have the housing for adult cats and we have local shelters that take adults. Our goal is to be a place for orphaned neonatal kittens. But when a friend of my family passed away unexpectedly and my cousin asked if I could help find her much loved cat a home I couldn’t say no. So Binx came to stay with us while we looked. We never officially advertised him but if you visited us at events then you might remember the big shy boy hiding in his carrier. We were surprised when he came out to greet this lady. And then we were sad when she left without applying for him. But by the next morning we had a message from her that she couldn’t stop thinking about him. So Binx got himself a new mom who I think will love him as much as his first one. He quickly became a favorite at our house, and there were a few tears shed to see him go. But happy tears too because we’re just so happy for him. We love you, Binx! You touched our hearts. Enjoy your new mom, big guy!

There is an application process at Nana’s Fosters. Normally we don’t do on the spot adoptions. We need a moment to absorb the information you provide, get permission from landlords, that sort of thing. But when this gal came along and was interested in Gillian, we knew we didn’t have to do a lot of work. We’ve known this young lady for some time. We’ve met other pets she’s owned, and seen where Gillian will live. This was an easy yes for us. We are so thrilled that Gillian has gone from a stray kitten born on someone’s porch from a cat no one knows, to being loved by this gal. Congratulations, Gillian! We can’t wait to see updates on your life. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Flower Fest this evening. Thank you for the donations, and items purchased. It all goes towards the care of the kitties. Thank you to Grace Grown Farm for hosting such a beautiful event and for allowing us to be a part of it. And a special thank you to our dear friend Nina at Friends Feline Fosters for making us fudge to sell, and for just being an all around encouragement. We love our community! 🥰

Flower Fest is well underway! The kittens are getting lots of attention. We’ve already had some friends and former adopters stop by. And guys…my phone can’t even capture the beauty of the flowers here! Be sure to head over to Grace Grown Farm at 1845 Ridge Ave, Curwensville. We will be having story time with the kiddies, and kitties starting at 5:00.

Today is the day! Come visit us at Flower Fest at Grace Grown Farm today from 4-8! 1845 Ridge Avenue Extension, Curwensville. The kittens are excited to meet you, and we are too! What a fun and beautiful way to spend a cool September evening in PA. We will have some cat related items for sale to help with the expense of caring for our babies, and you can leave with some beautiful flowers to brighten your home and heart. Come find your forever feline friend, or just give them a little snuggle. Either way it will be a fun time. See you soon!

We are desperately in need of some revolving supplies. dry kitten food, and canned kitten food are in short supply. Our litter supply is also getting low. If anyone would like to donate you can use our convenient Amazon link and it will come right to our door. Please don’t forget to sign the gift tag. We are always so grateful to see who is supporting us. We will also be at Grace Grown Farm in Curwensville this Saturday from 4-8. If you wanted to bring a donation rather than send it you can find us there. Whether you bring a donation or not, please come visit the kittens. Take pictures, share them with your friends. We will have applications available but we will not be doing same day adoptions. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt…come get some kitten therapy. The world is sometimes crazy and pressing in, but you can’t feel stressed in a yard full of kittens. 🐱

It's Winter Shelters Time! It’s time to reserve your free winter cat shelter(s). We will distribute shelters on October 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Centre Hall. You must reserve your shelter(s) in advance and reservations will be taken on a first come first serve basis. To reserve your shelter(s), email us at [email protected] and include your name, address, phone number, and also let us know how many cats you need shelter for. We will acknowledge your request and let you know where to pick up your shelter(s). If you need a shelter but can’t make it on Oct 3, send us an email and we’ll try to accommodate you.
