🥩 You are what you Eat! 🐾
One of the biggest changes we've made for our dogs over the past three years has been transitioning to a raw diet. After attending a NAPPS conference and spending time learning more about canine nutrition, it felt like the right choice for our pack.
Every morning starts with raw food, and for Noodle, I also add NAD+ and collagen. Since she's a senior, I'm always looking for ways to support her mobility and overall quality of life. While I've noticed positive changes for her, it's important to know that NAD+ hasn't been extensively studied in dogs, so this is simply a personal decision I've made after doing my own research.
Ghost is currently on a 50/50 raw and kibble diet while we finish his last bag of kibble. Originally, the mix helped keep costs manageable while making sure he got enough calories. My goal is to transition him to a fully raw diet and continue adding nutrient-dense foods like sardines, eggs, and other healthy sources of calories.
Nutrition isn't one-size-fits-all. Every dog is different, every budget is different, and every family has different needs. The most important thing is learning what works best for your dog and making informed choices along the way.
Now I'm curious...what's on your dog's breakfast menu? 🐶👇
