Meet our newest friends! Available for adoption!

Walnut, Cashew, and Pecan! 🥜

The red-eared slider is a common, medium-sized freshwater turtle known for the red stripe behind its eyes, olive-brown shell, and yellow markings. Adults can reach 4-10 inches in length and living up to 40 years! So they are a long term commitment! They are omnivores, eating plants, insects, and small fish, and are popular pets, but their hardiness and large adult size mean they require significant, specialized care, including large tanks with proper heating, UV lighting, and filtration, and should never be released into the wild as they are invasive in many areas.

⭐️ Pet Care Requirements ⭐️

Tank: They need a large aquarium (e.g., 75+ gallons for adults) with a dry basking area, a ramp, and a powerful filter due to their messy habits. Many live happily in outdoor koi ponds!

Lighting & Heat: Requires both a basking heat lamp (around 95°F basking spot) and a full-spectrum UV-B bulb. They like it HOT!

Water: Needs a water heater to keep water around 85°F and requires frequent cleaning or a strong filter to maintain water quality. Turtles can produce a lot of waste so you need to make sure that you have a filter than can handle it!

🦎 Meet Maybelle – Your New Little Sunshine! 🦎

Looking to add a calm, curious companion to your home? Meet Maybelle, a beautiful 3–4 year old adult female leopard gecko who’s ready to find her forever family 💛

✨ About Maybelle:
• Gentle, easygoing personality, handleable
• Fully grown and thriving
• Beautiful chocolate eyes
• A wonderful option for both beginners willing to learn and experienced reptile keepers.

🏡 Her Ideal Home:
Maybelle will need a minimum 40-gallon enclosure to stay happy and healthy. Her future family should already understand—or be willing to learn—the basics of proper leopard gecko care, including habitat setup, heating, and enrichment.

☀️ Care Requirements:
• Requires linear UVB lighting for optimal health
• Strictly insectivorous (no fruits or veggies!)
• Eats 4–5 times per week (a variety of appropriately sized insects)

‼️ Important:
• Maybelle, like many leopard geckos, is prone to having shed get stuck on her feet and toes. After each shed she will need a warm soak and potentially help pulling off whatever remains. If you are not willing to put aside the time to do this please do not apply. Stuck shed can cause loss of circulation and eventually the toes itself will die and either fall off or amputated via a vet.

💡 We’re looking for a committed home that will provide Maybelle with the care, space, and attention she deserves for years to come.

If you’re ready to welcome this sweet girl into your life, send a message and tell us a bit about the setup you have (or plan to build) for her! Let’s find Maybelle the loving home she deserves 💛

Meet Franklin Theodore Cornelius – A Handsome, Friendly Dragon! 🔥

Yes, that’s his full name — Franklin Theodore Cornelius — and he absolutely lives up to it!

This 2-year-old juvenile male bearded dragon is as charming as he is unique. With his rich red-toned coloration (a beautiful change from the typical yellow/tan), Franklin is a real standout. But it’s not just his looks — he’s extremely friendly, enjoys being handled, and loves interacting with people. He’s more on the submissive side and if confronted with another Bearded Dragon- he will wave his hands! (This is a sign that basically says “I mean no harm!”)

If you’re looking for a reptile companion you can actually bond with, Franklin is most definitely your guy!

Care Requirements (Please Read Carefully):
🏠 A 4x2x2 ft enclosure is required — proper space is essential for his well-being.
☀️ Linear UVB lighting is a must for healthy growth and bone development.
🥗 Fresh salad daily to keep him thriving.
🦗 Insects 3–4 times per week for protein and balance.
🚨 Important: Bearded dragons are solitary animals. Franklin MUST be the only bearded dragon in his enclosure. They do not get lonely, and cohabitation can lead to serious harm.

Franklin would thrive in a home that will continue handling him regularly and providing the proper setup he deserves. He’s the perfect mix of personality, beauty, and companionship. 🧡

Meet Billy – Your Future Scaly Sidekick! 🐉

Looking to add a chill, charismatic reptile to your life? Meet Billy, a 5-year-old male bearded dragon who’s ready for his forever home!

Billy is a laid-back guy who enjoys basking under his lights, watching the world go by, and munching on his favorite foods. He’s past the baby stage, so you’ll skip the extra fragile phase and jump right into having a well-established companion.

Care Requirements (Please Read Carefully):
🏠 A 4x2x2 ft enclosure is required — no smaller, as space is essential for his health and happiness.
☀️ Linear UVB lighting is a must to keep his bones strong and prevent health issues. MBD can be a death sentence for Bearded Dragons!
🥗 Fresh salad daily (think leafy greens and veggies).
🦗 Insects 3–4 times per week for protein.
🚨 Important: Bearded dragons are solitary animals. Billy MUST be the only bearded dragon in his enclosure. They do not get lonely and cohabitation can be dangerous. As seen in one of the photos, he noticed another Bearded Dragon and his beard immediately became black. He heads bobs aggressively and will scratch to get out of his enclosure. They are not friendly towards one another ‼️

Billy would do best with someone who understands reptile care or is willing to learn and provide the proper setup he deserves. In return, you’ll get a calm, fascinating companion with tons of personality.

Vet visit! We take all of our rescues (as well as my personal reptiles and exotics) to Wild Things Animal Clinic located in Pleasant View, TN.

Wild Things has been nothing short of amazing and we really appreciate all the time, love, and care that they put into these little ones! 💚

Fun fact: Buttercup ended up having to be placed into a holding kennel for dogs because she kept trying to escape her container 😅
