Note from Foster Mama: Todd is having a blast! This boy who was once afraid of walks is now cuttin’ loose! 🤪 Our nightly walks take us a little longer now, but they’re 100% more fun. This video is from one single walk! 🙃 Todd likes to test out everyone’s yards to see who has the softest grass, but he doesn’t always have the best spatial awareness. 🤣

Foster Mama says I em famous today. She says I wuz on dis for bein around so long, but dat I don't know da difference becuz I em lucky enuff to be in da foster home. She says my forever home is out dere still but I wuz just outside n I didn't see nuffin.

Every one of these smiles has been waiting over 𝟒𝟎𝟎 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 for a family to call their own🥰😢

Some have spent well over a year hoping someone would choose them. 𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣'𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙨𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢.

The only reason they've been able to wait this long is because of the incredible foster families who opened their homes and gave them a place to rest, heal, and simply be dogs. 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙡.

Now they're ready for the next chapter: a forever home.🏠

They've already proven they can thrive in a home environment. They know what it's like to curl up on a couch, greet you at the door, and be part of a family.

This is a dog that is afraid of thunder. This is a dog afraid of loud noises outside. This is also a dog who tonight mostly slept through Fourth of July fireworks with the aid of two box fans, shades drawn, and Foster Mama, Dad and sis nearby for comfort. No shaking. No drooling. No whale eyes. He even did it without his thundershirt. Very proud of this brave boy. Love. Patience. Consistency. That’s all Todd needs.

A note from Foster Mama: Another proud day in Todd’s journey to becoming a brave boy! Like most dogs, what Todd needed was a patient, loving home and people who didn’t give up on him. He’s been luckier than most shelter pups to have multiple fosters that kept him out of a shelter kennel that he never would’ve made it out of otherwise. He’s a special boy, with plenty of quirks, but he’s WORTH IT! ✨

Suns out, bellies out! Foster mama says she’s been busy wit werk, but dat we r back! She says u can still adopt me but I em here enjoying dis sun in da meantime.
