As America celebrates its 250th birthday, Lady Viola and Lady DiDi are doing what Ragdolls do best.......relaxing in comfort while keeping a watchful eye out for the festivities. 🇺🇸🐾
Cats have quietly been part of America's story since the very beginning. They sailed aboard ships with early explorers and colonists, protecting precious food supplies from rodents during long voyages and in the first settlements. Throughout our nation's history, they found homes on family farms, in small-town stores, aboard naval vessels, and even in the White House, earning their place as hardworking companions and beloved members of American families.
While the Ragdoll is a much newer chapter in that story, first developed in the United States in the 1960s, the breed has become one of America's most treasured feline companions. Known for their gentle personalities, striking eyes, affectionate nature, and relaxed temperament, Ragdolls embody the warmth, loyalty, and companionship that have made cats cherished members of our homes for generations.
Today, as fireworks light up the sky and we celebrate 250 years of our nation's history, we're grateful for the opportunity to share our love of this incredible American-developed breed with families across the country.
