From his first groom, to, unexpectedly, his last.
Never thought I’d have to make this post anytime soon but it breaks my heart to say one of my first clients at Lydia’s Pet Parlor passed away last Sunday. His mom called me today to break the news.
If you know me, you know how much each and every pup that comes through means to me. They become my fur baby even if it’s just for a few hours every other month. I love and get a strong attachment to my clients, so when something like this happens, it feels like I lost my own pup.
Please send some prayers to my friend Chandler as she navigates through this extremely difficult time.

This sweet girl had her first groom at Lydia’s Pet Parlor!
We did a deep cleansing bath with the oatmeal package to help with some really irritated skin.
She was so soft and shiny after we were all done and was just giving me kisses the whole time.

It was this sweet girl’s first time at Lydia‘s Pet Parlor today and she did so good!
We did a basic deep cleansing bath with an all over haircut to get her feeling good and ready for the rest of summer!

We took his tail shorter as well as trimmed his ears to match the shorter length in his body.

This was Gabe’s first time at Lydia’s Pet Parlor and he did so good and even fell asleep a few times during his groom🥹💛
We did a De-shedding bath to loosen up his compact undercoat, with an all-over tight trim up to give him a nice clean look. (Includes nail trimming and buffing, plus ear cleaning)
Definitely looking forward to grooming him again!

🤩Drake, Pumpkin, Burrow and Rudy🤩
For Drake, we did an oatmeal bath (includes nail trimming&buffing) plus teeth brushing.
Pumpkin got a de-shedding bath with an all over light trim, as well as teeth brushing.
Burrow did a basic bath and all over haircut with nail buffing.
Rudy got a De-shedding bath with an all over tight trim up.
Everyone was so amazing and it was a beautiful day to be grooming outside!☀️

We did a full bath and all over trim up with an added de-shedding package!
She was so sweet and had the softest coat I’ve ever felt when we were all done! Plus look how happy she was🤩

You could tell this boy felt (and looked) like a new dog when we were done!

This sweet pup got her very first groom today!
We did a basic bath, nails, cleaned her ears and trimmed up her face.
She was such a sweetheart and was cuddled up falling asleep while I was blow drying her🥹♥️

I highly recommend starting grooming when they’re puppies because it helps them adjust to all the new things, making grooming a breeze as they get older!
Plus at Lydia’s Pet Parlor, they learn to love it, with all the kisses, cuddles, and positive reinforcement🥰
