Y’all remember Lagniappe “Lainey”? Well, she’s had a little name change, and my millennial heart couldn’t love it more! 💗

Her guardian family named her Louise, affectionately known as Weezy, and goodness, how perfect is that?! Of course, being the Louisiana girl she is, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to give a little nod to Lil Wayne and his New Orleans roots. 😂⚜️

This girl is Louisiana through and through! Her original name, Lagniappe, means “a little something extra,” and that still describes her perfectly. Her roots trace back to the same little corner of Louisiana near Lainey Wilson’s hometown, and she is a 4th-generation Boxwood Doodles girl, carrying forward a legacy and heritage that means so much to me.

So, we’re making it official! From Lainey to Louise to WEEZY BABY! 🎶💕 She’ll be known as Weezy here at Boxwood Doodles, too!

And because we couldn’t introduce a girl named Weezy without having a little fun, we gave her a Lil Wayne-inspired makeover! 😂🎨 A little inspiration from artist Ashley Longshore’s iconic Lil Wayne portrait at Jack Rose in New Orleans, with our own fluffy Louisiana twist.

New name, same sweet girl, and a whole lot of Louisiana soul! ⚜️💗

Kibble + Sit + Patience + YES! = A bright future built on a solid foundation! 🐾❤️

Teaching manners to these youngin’s, one little kibble at a time!

I’m always so proud of what these babies can achieve in such a short amount of time. A little patience, positive reinforcement, and consistency go a long way!

And while we’re at it, let me change your mind about Aussie mixes! 🤪

I know they have a reputation for being a little spaztastic, and let’s be real, some absolutely fit that description! 😂 But what people sometimes overlook is just how incredibly SMART they are!

Don’t get confused, puppies are puppies! They have energy, they get into mischief, and those first six months can test your patience. But put in the work early, stay consistent, and you’ll be amazed at what they can learn.

That intelligence is something special when you give it the right direction!

We’re not just raising cute puppies. We’re building confidence, teaching manners, and laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning! 🐶💕

This little southern belle is Praline, and goodness gracious, she’s every bit as sweet as her name!

Her guardian family has already been chosen, and to say they’re smitten would be an understatement! They’re counting down the days until they can get their hands on this little doll. 💕

Some Bernedoodles really are pocket-sized! 🥹💜

Sweet Miss Camellia, formally Rosie from Basil x Moss, is 4 months old and weighing in at just 7 pounds! And she’s over 40% Bernese Mountain Dog! 🎉

Here’s the thing about teeny-tiny pups: they don’t always follow the traditional “double their weight at 16 weeks” rule. Sometimes, the littlest ones have their own growth curve!

For now, we’re welcoming her to the Pre-Micro Mini Club! 🎀🐾 Her official induction into the Micro Mini Club will come once she’s fully grown and we can 100% say she’s under 20 pounds!

Our goal with these little ones? All the Bernedoodle personality and charm in a tiny, travel-friendly package. ✈️💜

Small enough to fly in the cabin, big enough to steal your whole heart. 🥹

Introducing Dolly 💕

Our blue-eyed Australian Mountain Doodle girl and another very special one for us.

Dolly is homegrown from our original lines, and she represents something we’ve been intentionally working toward since 2022. There’s something really special about seeing a vision you’ve had for years finally show up in puppy form.

And those blue eyes? 😍 I know they’re not everybody’s thing, but I love them. Some people say blue-eyed dogs look a little spooky… I say she just looks like she knows all my secrets and plans to keep them. 😂

She’s beautiful, sweet, and already giving just the right amount of main-character energy.

For now, we’re just enjoying this girl and celebrating how far these lines have come. 🤍

Pretty, precious, and just mysterious enough to blame anything on her sister. 😂💙

Introducing Jolene 💎

Our blue-eyed Australian Mountain Doodle girl and a very special one for us!

Jolene is homegrown from our own lines, and she represents something we’ve been intentionally working toward since 2022. Seeing those plans finally come together in a puppy like this feels so incredibly special.

And those blue eyes? 😍 I know some people think blue-eyed dogs look a little creepy, but I am firmly on team “stare directly into my soul, ma’am and judge away!” 😂 I absolutely love them and it’s okay if you don’t! She’s got that beautiful, traditional look with just enough extra sass in those baby blues to make her impossible to forget.

Jolene will remain part of the Boxwood Doodles program and will eventually be placed in a carefully selected guardian home, which is still to be decided. For now, we’re just enjoying this sweet girl and celebrating how far these lines have come.

And yes… with eyes like that, she absolutely could take your man. 😂💙
