I made the squirms some bokashi apples. They love them.
-Sliced apples in a Ziploc
-sprinkle with bokashi bran
-seal and allow to ferment for a couple of weeks

I believe this probably helps the final castings since bokashi is full of effective microorganisms. I don't know for sure, though.
