There is so much more that goes into an equine photo shoot other than just the pictures.

Yes, brushing, fly spray, flipping manes, rubbing noses, trimming feet, clipping hair, deciding on tack, location, who is helping, and then there is charging your batteries, double checking your memory cards 15 times, keeping track of horses names, driving to locations, scouting locations, guiding people during the shoot, making sure everyone ate something, making sure you ate something, is the ear getter upper ready, making sure you get all images needed, making sure the angle and light are just right, making sure the horses hair is just right, making sure you are in the right place, finally taking the picture, repeat this a million times until you are done, making sure all equipment is back in the pickup for the drive home with snacks and water. 🤪

This is just the shoot.

After you get home there is dragging all equipment back into the house, downloading images, selecting images, finally editing, then renaming and file types, exporting, uploading to Dropbox and messaging clients.
