So not only is it Indepence day, it is Henry's gotcha day! The first picture is him staring longingly out the window when his foster mom Michelle left him with me. I was so sad for him and worried he couldn't trust again. But alas, after a few hours and some snacks, he was my boy. I love this pip squeak. He has wormed his way into my heart so deeply. I never thought I could love another like I loved Norman but he has proven me wrong. Happy Henryversary!! Henry and I thank Garrido Rescue and Michelle for bringing us together.

This very rare bird and his nest fell out of his tree during the storms. This type of bird is called a Henrybird. There is only one such bird in all the land. He can't fly but boy can he run. He has a long tail feather and an odd song. He can only be enticed to your bird feeder with bacon bird food. If you are lucky you may spot him once in your lifetime. I am so lucky.
