🎤 Next Speaker: Victor Saad

Victor is a talent leader, coach, and educator focused on helping people navigate transitions.

In 2012, he designed his own master’s program by completing 12 projects in 12 months, calling it The Leap Year Project. That experience culminated in staging his graduation at a local TEDx and publishing a book of community stories centered on learning through risk. Following that year, he partnered with a group of leaders to launch Experience Institute, an organization helping students and professionals grow through real-world, experiential learning focused on the skills that matter most for life and work.

In 2015, Victor was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in education. He later joined Stanford’s School of Engineering as a Lecturer in Design, where he helped students reimagine their education through experience. Over time, the program he helped build evolved from a non-credit elective into a core course for all juniors in the Stanford d.school.

Today, Victor serves as Chairman of the Board at Experience Institute and Chief Talent Officer at NextGen Growth Partners, where he supports the growth of the firm’s team and partners with founders as they transition their businesses alongside the next generation of CEOs.

📍 Venue Announcement: Marwen

Marwen inspires young people to nurture their growth and build their futures through art and community.

Since its inception almost 40 years ago, Marwen has provided free visual classes to over 17,000 young people in grades 6-12, reaching every one of Chicago's 77 neighborhoods. Art isn't simply a subject here-it's a pathway for growth, self-discovery, and a brighter future. For many under-resourced areas, Marwen offers what is often out of reach: access to quality arts education, academic mentorship, a welcoming community, and professional development opportunities that transcend the classroom.

We stand as a counterbalance to the systemic barriers that many young people face, providing access not just to art and skills, but also to an identity-affirming, highly supportive community. The connections forged here-between peers, mentors, and within oneself-are the foundation upon which young artists build a thriving future. Marwen doesn't just teach art; we cultivate possibility.

🚌 Nearest Bus Route(s): CTA 66 Chicago Avenue bus (stop at Orleans St) Additional nearby routes: 11, 66, 156

🚆 Nearest Train Station(s): CTA Brown Line – Chicago & Franklin stop (about a 1–2 block walk)
