Have Leash Will Travel Chicago

Inspired by a post in a group, thought we'd throw this handy guide of Dog Dangers together. There were some surprises for me when I took the first aid and CPR course based on the book pictured. All credit to the authors Fleck & Semrow, I only added a couple things. 😉🐶🤗

Milo & Me out for drinks!
🌞 🐶
It's a great day for a short outings and having fun inside! What is your dog like to do? Sniffing and searching?
Maybe some of your exercise could be in an air conditioned stairwell or garage?
A little fetch in a carpeted hallway perhaps?

Knowing the signs of overheating in dogs and what to do about it is very important, but prevention of all of that is so much better for everyone. If you aren't sure whether it is too hot to stay out with your dog, just take off your shoes and socks and put on a winter coat, and then go indoors when you start to feel it's a little much. 😉🤣
