We’d like to welcome Winston to training! To put it nicely, Winston was failed by another trainer that didn’t have his best interest in mind. He has come to us with a slew of issues such as resource guarding, dog aggression, human aggression with people he doesn’t know, along with a few other issues. We’ll be getting Winston back on track to help him live a care free life. Follow along on our journey with Winston 🧡

Andy builds all of the cool ramps and obstacles you see your dogs being trained on behind the scenes for confidence building. Introduction to off leash heel with a 5 month old pup! This was on day 2 of his board and train. After taking the time to build a relationship with this little guy, I had no question about trusting him off leash. The key is to make yourself the highest value resource in your environment. If the dog views you as higher value than a kid riding his bike or another dog on a walk, there’s no reason for that dog to divert its attention elsewhere.

Welcoming the beautiful Dotti to training! Dotti drew the short end of the stick most of her life, coming from a highly abusive home before being rescued by a great 501(c)3 in Chicago, where she sat for 2 long years until a loving family finally adopted her.

Dotti is now going through our Stay & Train program for help getting along with other dogs, resource guarding, and a few other things. Dogs like Dotti are the reason we do what we do…to keep dogs in homes and out of the shelters. Follow along while Dotti continues to progress over the coming days.
