I love my clients. In memory of K9 Tommy, the talented Shannon Marie Jones was kind enough to paint a portrait of him for me while I continue to fight to bring those responsible to justice. I’m comin’ for ya, one way or another. RIP Tommy, you are extremely missed. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you.
After over a year of trying to lay out a plan, I’ll be moving forward pro se in court against a very large holding company that owns the animal hospital that illegally euthanized Tommy. I will also be bringing at least one, if not two other individuals to court. The cost to do so is outrageous. With that being said, if anyone is able to contribute to Tommy’s GoFundMe it would mean the world to me (link below). 🙏

In addition, for those who cannot donate, I’m listing the parties responsible for Tommy’s death below. Feel free to express your displeasure with them in any way you so choose. What I will say is this isn’t the first tragedy that has happened to an animal caused by any one of these businesses/individuals. I need your help to spread the word that pets are not safe under their care:
(1) PATRICK KIRBY of Burning August K9 (Spring Grove, IL) — the person who not only stole Tommy and brought him in for euthanasia after falsely claiming ownership, but who also stole thousands of dollars of valuables and training gear out of my home on top of it. This is NOT the first dog who has died due to Patrick.
(2) ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF SPRING GROVE (Spring Grove, IL)
(a) Muhammad Wasif Latif, DVM, M.Sc.
(Hons) Medicine and Surgery - The
vet who took Tommy’s life on July 7,
2025 at 5:05 PM CST without any
questions asked. This was
confirmed over the phone with a
third party witness present on the
line (Annies Furbabes - a godsend
that has been helping me over the
past year with various aspects of
this situation)
(b) Teresa Pluciennik - ”Hospital
Manager”
-Refusal to give any documentation
of Tommy’s “visit,” covering up for
the vet listed above, denying any
responsibility whatsoever, and
lacking empathy entirely.
(3) Vetcor Inc. (Massachusetts) - Holding
company for Animal Hospital of Spring
Grove.
(4) Dean Brock - Con artist based in the state of Washington with a long history of animal neglect/abuse/cruelty. She worked in tandem with Patrick Kirby over the phone, instructing him to steal Tommy and euthanize him. Also falsely claimed ownership over the phone when Tommy was brought into the vet’s office. Just do a google search of her and you’ll see how evil this woman truly is.
